Zelkin had a natural resistance to magic, but that didn't mean immune. Nothing was immune. When the beams hit the air infront of him he was shoved back at first, then launched. He rolled for a moment before standing up and facing Dreslin. A small bit of rage was on his face. That attack always worked. Nothing could actually stop it but stone. This thing was merely a hologram then and some spell caster was elsewhere in the arena casting magic through the hologram.

Frankly, it had broken the rules by having a mage in the stands...... but if the overseers wouldn't catch it now then they wanted him to ******** it."

He knew victory would be a year long toil, and frankly he didn't have the energy anymore.

"Heh."

He had matters to attend to and a wife to return to. But surrender and let it walk? HA!

His vision was blurred but he could at least make out the hologram. He bolted towards it rapidly. Grabbing the fleshy shoulder above the metal arm, he used a rune. Even as he jumped into the air infront of the demon he began to swing like he was attacking. A mere foot away he blinked out of existence.

This was very strategic for a finish. Yes, Zelkin had left the arena in only the second teir. That wasn't so important. What was important was to make the fowl play end. The arena sat in its own dimension, apart from the stands. In essence they were in a very large bag of holding. When one tries to teleport a bag of holding they cerate a very small vacuum, or black hole. It would be but a flash, but the demon would be sucked in and destroyed, along wit the stands and the overseers of this single arena.


Of course being an unbanished demon the demon would recover. But not without pain or difficulty.

Zelkin only wished the demon to realize that even though it had won, due to a lack of time on Zelkin's behalf, it had still faced one of its more strategic foes. And if the dmeon lost in the arena Zelkin would most certainly know and find a way to banish it outside the guild.

((Sorry aboutthe delays lately. My computer crashed for a good reason. I have to skip the country for a while. But then again even the north most [arts of canada has internet so i'll be back to watch. just not anytime this year. Tah! And dreslin: take it easy. That explanation you pm'ed me didn't work out. You actually WOULD have been hit by the rune. Energy is energy regardless of the style its used. Hope the battlles go well my good mods. Tah again and sorry for the hold up.

Oh and this wouldn't come out as forfeit but would look more like suicide wink ))
