Shane followed her and entered her room behind her. It was spartan and neat, and obviously she hadn't finished with it... or rather he hoped she hadn't finished with it. Course, not everyone decked their walls with countless pictures and art. Nor did they make a mess of a desk or cram a keyboard into the space. So maybe she had the right idea.

Walking over to the four-poster bed, he knelt down and put his head low to the ground to check under it. Straightening, he turned back to her with a smile, "Nope, no monsters here lass, so sleep easy." Cocking his chin up into a smug look he added, "And if ye ever find one, I'll come and wrestle the beast back to hell."

Twas with a glad heart that Shane smiled after she kissed him. Who knew the lass had such soft lips. Resisting the urge to pull her back and kiss her properly, he replied, "Sure, and some night when you raid the kitchen come find me."

Giving her one last nod, he turned and left her room heading for his own. Well then boy-o, that was... interesting... who'd a thought this night would've held that for you? Can't say it was much of a burden though, pretty lass that Moira. Bet she could kiss real well...

Not that we're going to test that theory anytime soon, wouldn't be a good idea probably.

It wasn't until Shane reached his own bedroom that he realized he'd left his comforter with her... I'll get it tomorrow. Settling down at his keyboard, he began to write something new.
