"No." Duo said, after several minutes of contemplation. "I guess not. They are kind of annoying sometimes. But... you don't want the joy of MATING?"
The look Duo gave the other stallion was appalled, at best. "I've heard it's so much FUN!"

"With one of those?" Maybe it was a bit harsh to consider a Mare as a alien thing, calling them it's and those. Heero just didn't understand, wasn't attracted to them at all. "Mating may be fun, if with the right other."

Duo's head tilted, ears perked curiously. "One of those?" he didn't seem to grasp the difference, himself. "And mating is supposed to be fun in general, I hear." he said with a firm nod. "But yes, you have to do it with someone special." One ear drooped. "But I talk too much. All of the other Soquili in my two-legger's teepee hide whenever I come to hang out." he made a face.

Heero decided to keep his comment to himself. It wasn't that surprising. However, he felt that it was a bit too much after the events. "You have others? I am the only one."

A nod. Actually, a dozen or so. "I have two mares, and a stallion. Only one other in my teepee with these silly appendages though." he scowled at his wings. "She listens to me talk though, because she's small and easy to catch."

"Hn..." Heero watched him. God this stallion was taxing... but when he'd calmed down he was a lot easier to be around. "And now it's me." His ears pinned back and he snorted.

Duo grinned. "Why, yes it is." he agreed, tail 'wagging' again. "And what a pleasure to have you it is."

The stallion snorted again. "Hrn." Blue eyes glanced away. They should probably leave this spot. Find somewhere else to be. Not that it wasn't a nice place, but he was getting edgy. Maybe it was because he was in such close proximity to a handsome Soquili.

That auburn-maned head tilted again. "Is there a problem?" he asked curiously. "You're acting all funny." he wrinkled up his nose.

Heero shifted before heading back into the forest. "Follow me." He said simply. Duo could follow or stay behind. The urge to move was too great to ignore.

Duo obeyed, curiosity getting the better of him. His strides were in skips and bounds, not bothering to remain silent. "Hello mister treeee." he sang. Each animal and plant he thought he had time to greet was, and he followed along behind Heero, still babbling.
Babbling.
Babbling.

The brown-maned Stallion glared at his Companion. "Are you ever quiet?" He asked as they made their way through the forest.

Duo looked startled at the question. Then his head drooped, and he closed his mouth, following behind Heero with eyes accusing yet again. "I know how to be quiet. But why would you want to be quiet, when there is so much you can talk about?"

Ears flicked back and forth when they stepped out into the open field. "Maybe not everybody wants to hear it." Heero stated. The Stallion shook himself, letting the sun seep through his water-logged coat.

Duo looked at Heero again, pondering silently. "You aren't a very happy person." he decided. "You just seem grouchy. But I like you. You're different."
