Awlyn ForsakenShadow Got my show.. "Life" from Chicago. "Bohemian Rhapsody" from Queen. "In the Stone" from Earth, Wind and Fire. Oh it's gona be a good year... Not fair. I wanna do Bohemian Rhapsody!!! I did In the Stone last year. Which part of your band has the melody to it?? brass or low brass. We saw Benton Harbor do that that same year we did but they put more emphasise on the low brass. It wasnt the best! Hmm..we only sight read it once...but I want to say it was low brass, but honestly it was both. ^^ Bohemain Rhapsody's gona be nice...HOPEFULY this year we won't have 3 other bands playing our main song... Last year we had "Ride" and EVERY band had it. Our selection this year is really weird he's never had songs like this.. it was funny becuase ouf director said our songs are going to have a "Jazz feel to it" ...i cocked my head and went "Have you even HEARD Bohemain Rhaps.?"

Our show for the '05 season has something to do with The Beetles. I don't know exactly what songs we're playing, but it should be pretty interesting. Last Year our show was "Movin' Out" (Billy Joel music)

That is the 3rd most kickass marching band show I've ever heard (1st and 2nd being Locomotion (Show before my freshman year) and Hieroglyphics (The one we had this year))

MHHornfreak We march a different show every homegame so i dont know how do you manage that... it takes us all season to learn one show...

As far as I've heard, we're doing 2 shows. Our competition one will be American composers/songs, and our football game one will be pop songs.

our show is going to be latin-esque.
i really hope it doesnt suck.
last year we did pirates of the caribbean and won every competition we entered. hard to top

I don't know what our show is called but it consists of 3 songs. We are doing an anniversary show because our marching band has been competing this year for 25 years. We are doing one from each decade. Our first song is En Calum Fero or something like that. Then through the eyes of love and Russian Christmas. I am so excited! It is gonna be a beast!

hi everyone I am new and I love my new show it consists of:
1. Crazy Train(Ozzy SWEET!)
2. School's Out(Alice Copper OMG)
3. Come Sail Away(STYX Awsome)
4. Any Way You Want It(Forgot got who does it but I do love the song)
Last years show was Pirates of th Carabean(not spelled right most likely) and that was cool to but I can't wait till next year!! mrgreen

Northe We're doing all these Gershwin songs: Rhapsody in Blue, American in Paris, and some Piano Concerto. :0 It's really cool because our arrangement was specially made, so it's all original. It should be refreshing since most bands do movies or play music (we did Mask of Zorro last season). I'm really really excited. whee
Edit: "play" as in Miss Saigon and Broadway.. things. :1 We did Gershwin my freshman year. We did American in Paris, and Piano Concerto, and a little bit of I've got rythm. That was an awessome show!
