Heard it everywhere on the internet. I searched a forum where people who aren't hip that still listen to old music that is dead to the world. They hate the modern music we have right now such as Hip Hop and Rap. That's where I found out Metallica.
And to be honest, I don't blame them liking Metallica.

well i grew up with metallica and i am into the type of music they play.. so i guess there was no choice for me but to love them like i do.... smile heart

Well my mom likes Guns-n-Roses so then when on youtube looking at those songs i stumbled upon metallica id herd OF them but never actually herd them and i listened to one of there songs and ive now been listening to them for 3years smile

i think what got me into likeing metallica was back in my 9th grade year..
my first album to listen to was seek and destroy but my all time favorite song has to be unforgiven II or harvester of sorrow ^_^
but what made metallica my favorite i think is also cuz i like what they stand for..and everything and also i share the same name as thier first and best bass player Cliff Burton mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen ninja ninja ninja

A friend recommended Ride The Lightning to me, from there I explored there albums and began to love the ST. Anger album. Shoot me again I 'ain't dead yet.....

well, my mom got re- married when i was four and my step dad would drive me to skool...and thats all he owuld listen to in the car...he had every single album and like more than one copies of saint anger and, ...And Justice For all. so thats also when i got motivated to play the guitar...kirk hammet was my idol...(its funny cuz i liked him so much i would yell i ahte you dave mustain at the end of every song on kill em all xD) biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

My dad was into Metallica so I began to listen to it since before I was born and I grew up with them so in a way they are my childhood and my favorite band. xd

I grew up listening to AC/DC, Queen, Van Halen, Journey, Alice in Chains; all that stuff but the only thing I hadn't really heard was Metallica- I probably did down the road but they never really got my attention at first. Well, when I was about 6 or 7, me and my dad were talking about drummers and he had mentioned Lars Ulrich and how my dad thought he was one of the greatest drummers in the world, I thought it was quite interesting so on the radio I would sometimes listen for Metallica and when I finally heard one of their songs, I was instantly drawn by it and 12 years later I'm still in love with Metallica, who is in fact my all time favorite band. So it was my dad who got me interested basically... * heart Thanks dad heart *

well one, i grew up with them , two most people i know litsen to them, three i love rock/metal, ect. ( iknow that they aren't metal just putting example out there), and four awsome beat! smile
