Her eyes stared at him for a moment as she then smiled. "This is the first gift I have ever been given and have not been required to do unspeakable things in return. The last thing I was ever given to wear was this." Her one finger touched a golden charm that hung from her neck. "And it was given to me in order to have me be sent away."
Sayeh then smiled to Raine. "But you; you have always been so kind. I could not be more grateful to anyone else. Thank you, S.." She caught herself and her ears fell back but she let out a small nervous laugh. "Sorry.. habit. Thank you, Raine." A smile sat on her red tainted lips.

Raine smiled at her
"Well, You're more than welcome Sayeh!" he said brightly
"You're one of the first friends I made here! So.. I'd never ask you to do anthing horrible..not ever! Thats not what friends do!" Hesmiled as he closed the box of stones and got up to put them away.
"I'm pleased you like it, I think it looks ever so pretty on you!" He nodded, pushing his white hair back over his shoulder.
" gift for a gift anyway.. though your gifts to me were far more lovely! SO Soft!" He smiled delightedly, his fingers brushing over the scarf again, a delighted look in his blue eyes.

Mayuki growled and ignored everything Aspen said. Her tail was puffed out to capacity behind her and she simply brought her blades up more. "Your interferring with his work! He probably won't say it because he doesn't want to hurt a frail creature like you!" She shouted at him and eyed his form that was more in sight now. "Scream in pain you wimp!" She then brought her daggers across in an attempt to cross slash the male in the chest.
Mitsuji's eyes went a little wide at the sudden actions of the girl. He didn't have time to even think besides do what his instinct told him. Bolting quickly over to Aspen, he stepped in front of the male to block the blade from slicing the squrrel. Barely flinching, he felt the gashes stinging his chest already and the blood was rolling out from the two cross slashes that went across his chest. "You have to stop this Mayuki. Now your have hurt the one you supposedly love. Your reckless and your obssession for me is driving you to do these acts. Where is the Mayuki I remember?" He said lightly before clenching his fists tightly as he tried his best to not show that he was in a bit more pain then he originally thought.
He turned his head back to Aspen slowly to make sure he was alright before looking back to Mayuki. His white eyes glaring at her with anger.

Aspen and brought his arms up to try and keep himself frmo taking too much damage from the knives, but was altogether more bothered when he realised what had actually happened..
"Mitsuji!" He cried as he saw the knives bite into his friend chest
"Oh god.." That was quieter.. this was the second time his friend had been hurt for him and the worry it caused him showed in his eyes..
"Oh God, Please miss stop! Be careful!" He let his knees give out under him, he didnt really like blood.. and there seemed to him, to be a lot.. it was hopefully not as bad as he thought, but it still got to him a little...
H eknew she wouldnt have wanted to do that.. and he couldnt express how thankful he was ot his friend for stepping in the way.. but it was horrible that the dragon had been hurt again.. he didnt want him to have to go through any more suffering.. not like this..
"be okay.." he murmured..

Mayuki dropped her daggers on the ground and her eyed welded up with tears. "I hurt the one I love..." She said lightly as the tears fell down her face. Mitsuji's words stung her hard since they were in fact true. This was the third time she was told off basically. "I'm so sorry!" She said in a reply before picking up her daggers quickly and sheathing them. "You will never see me again..." She then turned away from them and ran into the forest. Her feet carrying her as quickly as possible into the forest until she disappeared.
Mitsuji watched as Mayuki ran away and felt a bit guilty for that, but what she did was wrong. Turning around slowly, he seen Aspen on the ground and it made him worry a little. "Don't be upset." He simply said before closing his jacket a bit to hide the blood. He was greatly she didn't tear his coat and that was a good thing. "I'll be alright." He nodded and shut his eyes briefly before thinking of what he could do to help Aspen. "She won't be back anytime soon." He also stated to make Aspen feel a little better, but he didn't know he didn't like blood that much. He never seen him act like this, but he knew he didn't like it.

Aspen nodded slightly..
"Are you sure you'll be okay...?" He asked in a quiet voice, slowly pushing himself up to his feet again..
"I.. I'm so sorry.. I keep on getting you into trouble.. I dont mean to.. I dont know how it keeps happening.." He felt guilty.. he didnt want to see his friend hurt..
"I'm sorry.. again.. I've got some strapping and some bandages inside, if you'll let me try and fix it up. it seems to be bleeding quite a lot.." He placed a hand on the wall to steady himself..
"Thank you.. again.. you saved my life.. thats twice I owe you.." his hands were shaking a little bit, but seeing his friend was.. at least superficially okay and not falling over fromthe blood loss did make him feel a little more at ease.
"Will you come in..?" he asked, reaching out a hand and breifly touching Mitsuji's arm.. it was just for his own reassureance.. he needed to know he was okay.

Mitsuji nodded to him before clenching his coat a bit still feeling the stinging pain of the wound. He was cut deeper then he wanted to be and didn't expect this much pain. "I'm fine. I can't be hurt worser then I already am." He simply said before his tail curled lightly around his waist. "You don't have to apologize. I told you it's my job to protect. I simply did my obligation." He said hiding the fact that he did it becasue Aspen was his friend. It would sound bad if he said that or at least to him it would. He was lying for once and this he didn't like either.
"Sure you can take a look at it." He said before feeling the male's arm touch his. Why was he doing that? He wondered before walking inside the house and over to a couch. He was already invited in, so it wasn't rude of him to just go in. Slowly, he took of his coat and flinched a bit as it stuck to the gaping wounds. He simply grit his teeth a bit and shut his eyes before finally pulling it completely off. He tossed it aside and opened his eyes to look at his chest. Two more slashes were present and they were still bleeding, even if it was blood trails here and there. "I think I'm traumatizing you since all I do is bring bad things. First Zuka, then Akemi, and now Mayuki. Maybe it's best we broke this friendship." He said bitterly, but simply shut his eyes and rested his head on the beack of the couch.

Sayeh got up and bowed her head. "I'm just so happy that you are doing alright and that you liked your gift. I wasn't sure what to bring you but I was always told you should bring your friend something when they invite you to your home."
She then turned and stared out the window and she smiled brightly. "WOW you have a great view from here!" The feline then looked at him curiously. "Do you ever get lonely being here? I understand others must live here with you as well but I know how a big home can sometimes feel a bit empty at the same time."

"No.. I dont think we need to do that." Aspen said quietly as he followed the dragon inside, stepping into the hallway to fet the first aid kit they kept there, just in case..
"I like being your friend.. and you're not hurting me in anyway.. its shocking a lot of the time, but its worth it to know you.." He carried the box over to the sofa an settled next tohis friend, beginning ot clean up some of the blood with some cotton wool.
"Its tsill bleeding.." he said quietly..
"But.. You seem to heal quite quickly.." He was being as gentle as possible as he moved the cotton pad across his frined scheck, his other hand resting on his shoulder to steady himself as he leant across the dragon.
"I'll put a sterile pad and strip over it.. and wrap it with the bandages we have.. you should probably change it tomorrow if its still bleeding.." He was more or less repeating things that Eirian had told him at one point.. she was good with this sort of thing..
He began to wrap the wound, first the large patch with the strapping, and then two bandages to hold it properly in place.. he hoped that would do..

Raine smiled..
"Well, it was very thoughtful of you Sayeh! It really was! And yes.. the view is pretty nice to be honest.. I like it up here.." He looked htoughtful
"I dont think I really get that lonely, there are always people up at the shop I can talk to, so its easy enough to find companny usually.
He shrugged slightly.
"I should probably think about cooking somthignto eat soon actually.." He seemed thoughtful, one hand resting on his hip as he toyed with some ideas.

Her one ear flicked and it seemed from the sparkle in her violet eyes Raine caught Sayeh's FULL attention as her face turned to him. "You cook?" It seemed like only a blink of the eye that she was standing before him, hands clasping one another and she looked like a hopeful child who was promised a milkshake for dinner.
"What do you like to cook? I didn't even know you cooked!" Behind her, her long tail chimed a bit as the bangles chinged and changed as her tail swayed with anxious excitement. Food, the one thing she could trust and enjoy to the fullest delight.

Mitsuji watched Aspen closely. He eyed his movements very carefully since he didn't want him to get...too close. "Alright. I don't want you ending up like me from all this." He said still being as still as he possibly could. His eyes closed as he felt the dagger like pain run through his body as the male squirrel cleaned his wound. His tail flickered at his side when he felt the male rest his hand on his shoulder. He didn't mind it since he was more worried about the pain then anything at the moment.
"Alright and I am sure it will heal up fine." He said lightly to Aspen before opening his eyes again. He seen him finish up dressing the wound and eyed him carefully once again. "Your very helpful to me when I need it." He stated and looked down at his bandaged up chest. "Not to sound all mushy, but your one of the nicest people I have ever met. Your high-spirited and strong as well." He nodded before quickly reaching out and pulling the male in for a hug. He couldn't stop thinking about the hug the other day. The warmth of it filled his body in a way he never felt before in his entire life. He probably couldn't flat out hug someone still though until he got to know them better and he felt Aspen had reached that point.
He didn't let a word pass his lips as he held the squirrel in the light embrace. This was the only way he could think of to show his appreciation for Aspen's help even if it had been on his mind. His tail curled at his side and he shut his white eyes slowly as he began to feel the warmth again.

Aspen smiled at his friend words.. he was so pleased that he wasnt getting on his nerves at all.. that would be awful for him.. he really didnt want to become a pest..
"You're welcome.. you deserve somone to be nice to you." He replied as he tucked the end of the bandage into one of the folds, and felt suddenly rather surpised as his friend arms wrapped around him again. H elet himself lean carefully against the others chest, he knew where the gashes were, so he found it fairly easy to position himself so that he missed them. He didnt want to hurt him any more... and carefully hooked an arm up so that he could rest his hand on Mitsuji's shoulder agian, returning the embrace.
It was a surprise, this second hug, but a nice one..
"You're welcome.." he said again, smilng to himself still as he returned hs friends hug, hoping that he could carry on helping him on some level..
"Thanks for coming to see me today..."

Raine laughed
"Yeah, I can cook! I like making cakes and sweets mostly, but I can make things with pasta, and even some casseroles and things like them! is there anything you like..? We've probably got enough stuff int he house tomake most things.. Ri ri looks after things like that.. i can cook you anything you like!" He smiled at her, and watched her, she was so excited, it was quite sweet he felt, and he couldnt help the giggle that passed his lips.
"So..? Is there anything you'd like..?"

As he mentioned various things, Sayeh had to open up her hands and press them against her lips, but from behind them he could here a muffled squeak of delight. Her eyes widdened and once again, she folded her hands in a hopeful manner. Now her hips were wiggling, like a feline readying to pounce but from the way her face was lit, it was nothing but sheer joy in her case. "I love Middle Eastern foods and miss them so! Can you make pilav with some nice rice, pleeassee, Raine?" Her begging was so unlike her usual front. She was like a kitten, her eyes wide and big, and her lips slightly pouty. "Pretty please with a cherry on top?"
