Lucas DID make an official announcement that 7-9 would NOT be made into movies. The interview is on theforce.net, but I dont have the link offhand.
I saw it opening day, and loved it. I'm a SW geek.... seen the original trilogy umpteen times and have read a fair amount of the novels. I'm holding my breath for when Gaia releases a Leia ear-buns hair style.
I just wish the ending wouldn't have been so rushed ._.;

Yeah, the end seems pretty much a slanted mountain going all down-hill. It didn't look to well done and I was baffeled at how much it sucked

Okay, I've just walked in from seeing the movie and thought it was fantastic.
Until anyone opened their mouth.
I vote it as "crappiest dialogue of all time."
Oh the pain.
Eye candy it was.
Decent cinema it wasn't.

I agree, it was wonderful eye candy. And it tied up a LOT of loose ends. Even some small trivial things were tied up.

Priestess Lucia Lucas DID make an official announcement that 7-9 would NOT be made into movies.
That may be true... but the thing is back in the 1977 when he first created Star Wars, in an interview he said he was going to make all nine episodes in a span of 40 years. Now he says it's just a rumour. stare I don't know why he changed his mind, I think it would be awesome if he did the 7-9 episodes, holy cow.

I think he is just too old at this point. He is what...65 years old or so? It would take 10 years to do another 3. And maybe he just doesn't have the story in him.

I think it was very subtle. I wish I would remember what the Sith said

I saw it on Saturday with my friend, Matthew. He is a Star Wars Freak. He's seen it three times now. I think he is doing it just so he can like collect tickets to make me feel jealous or something. It was a very good movie, one of my favorite Star Wars movies. It all fit perfectly together to complete the saga. Unless they make an episode 7 or something. I don't like it when directors recast actors though.

If only I could find out how many licks it took to get to the tootsy roll center of a tootsy roll top. *hits the desk* I was so close!! evil blaugh

I saw it last week, I thought it was pretty good.
So much lightsaber action. -^.^-
Vicious Jello: A friend of my brother did the 'how many licks' thing it took a little over 100.
