Hello everyone! I got the request to join this guild and I saw your guide a few days ago(and I must say, its VERY good, I'd use it much more if I hadn't stopped playing the exchange). I hope I can make lots of friends here =D

I think it's kind of pathetic that I was invited on my mule and not my regular account, considering how much Exchanging is done on the latter. XD

When I saw the Guild Invitation in my inbox, I was expecting this to be just another spam-invite. I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised to be invited to join this guild.
For those who don't know me, I'm Nekojin (Nek0jin, really, but someone else got Nekojin before me); you can call me Neko, if you want. I hang out in the Wanted forum, and buy things from people who don't want them any more. =^_^=
As of this writing, I've sold over 1.5 million gold worth of merchandise in the Marketplace, and my current "value" (items plus gold) is somewhere over 250k. *shrug* Not much, but I'm trying for more.
My "Gaia Method" is to buy items for less than Marketplace value, and resell them on the Marketplace, turning a profit of at least 500g per transaction (if possible). In a way, I'm actually helping to fight inflation, because I always list my items below the current Marketplace low.
I hate people who try to rip off other Gaians; there's no reason not to offer a fair deal. evil
I actively use the Marketplace as a price guide for relatively common items (anything that has at least 5 listed in the MP, anyway). Despite many people's claims that the Marketplace is horribly overpriced, I find that the Marketplace is usually not too far off the going rate in the xchange, except (strangely) for store-bought items, which are often listed at over store price... question
I nearly always haggle. If the other person chooses to accept my offers without haggling, that's a little extra profit for me. =^_^=
I'd say my best trade to date was buying two Fairy Wings for a total of 77k cash, then turning around and trading them for a Human G Corp Labcoat (the seller of the labcoat wanted Fairy Wings, for whatever reason), then selling the Labcoat for around 88k in the Marketplace.
My worst trade was buying four May '05 envelopes for 7k each after the market value on them had already dropped below 7k. Despite that, I managed to break even on that deal. However, my most costly mistake was when I accidentally listed some high-price item (can't remember what it was, now) for 20k less than I paid for it... it was snapped up in seconds, of course.

Yo. I'm Kai, Matt in real life. I'm not really sure why I was invited, but I'll introduce myself anyway.
I'm 15, going to be a sophmore in highschool this year. I live in a little farm town in the north central part of Indiana. I spend almost all my time on Gaia, as I have nothing better to do. My only other intrest is in band. I love band. I play the timpani and marimba.
