Look, ami... if the basis for proving that something does exist is that no one has yet proved that it doesn't exist, you could claim anything exists. Science isn't the key to disproving God, it can only disprove the Bible. The key to disproving the existence of God is logic. The philosopher Epicurus spake thusly:
"Is God willing to prevent evil but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is God able to prevent evil but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither willing nor able? Then why call him God?"
I've said this before. . . God made the world, we screwed it up. If he made it perfect than we would be robots without a choice to love him, and that doesn't really mean anything.
Also, there is this (i made it myself):"To disprove God, you first have to prove him. But if the whole point of proving him is to disprove him, then why prove him in the first place?"

Anyway, in my opinion, the point is moot. I believe that the world was made (by God, Yahweh, Vishnu, the Force, the Big Bang, the Great Architect - call it what you want) and then left to us. "God does not require that we think of him; only that we think."
Who said that quote? He sounds pretty stupid to me.
Now it's going to be you who said that, and you're going to get all offended and it's going to be really awkward.
stare It was Terry Pratchett, actually. You know, the author of the Discworld books? He also wrote Good Omens in collaboration with Neil Gaiman, the exalted creator of Sandman.
I feel offended nonetheless. It was sweet of you to insult me thus, but I think I shall refrain from responding further.
One does not have to prove God exists to disprove Him. This is a ridiculous statement. Why must you always make ridiculous statements? I can prove that the flying purple unicorns of Arabia who engage in intricate dances which bring about rain don't exist. I haven't yet had to prove that they do.
How? You could claim anything didn't exist just on the basis that no one has proved it yet. Hell, anything is possible. Ah, I was such a noob back when I was all blue. . .
But if the basis for proving that something does exist was that no one has yet proved it doesn't exist, then by that logic, you could claim anything exists! I could say that the great drug-addicted transvestite vegan hexagrammic tesseract from the planet Cowboy Bebop exists because you haven't yet proved it doesn't! It's an existential claim, the very nature of which is to prohibit anyone from investigating it!
