Uh..nukes aren't reliable. A standard harassing player would either spot and eliminate the silo first, or have Science Vessel tech by then.

Yea, Firebats are decent against Zlots, but really, it's not smart to go infantry against toss. Go metal instead.

In early TvZ games, maybe if the Zerg is going for an early hatch, an infantry rush may work. But I don't think you should wait for two squads. Speed is the essence, and you should probably try to take out the early hatch/expo as soon as your first rine comes out or so.

I barely played any late game TvZ games though, so I really dunno about that.

Six tanks and some bunkers and medics and scvs parked outside a zerg base is End-Game.

Of course, when the Zerg get Guardians, you're ******** unless you can come up with a fleet of Wraiths and BCs

A good zerg player wouldn't let terrans tech.

You wouldn't need a fleet of wraiths and BCs to stop afew guardians. Just a few valks to support the tanks.

A good terran player could probably rush a zerg player with marines and firebats alone.

In a team game, that player should go for tanks and goliaths.

TvZ, Terrans don't need to tech. A solid force of M&M with good micro is sufficient enough to counter any Zerg force up until tech 3. Zerglings, hydralisks, mutalisks, lurkers, whatever.

With that said, it is inversed. It is Terran that must not let the Zerg reach tech 3. This is achieved by rushing with the standard M&M (tanks are good support, but too expensive to mass-produce when compared to infantry) and attempts to contain Zerg expansions.

Otherwise, Dark Swarm and Guardians eat Terrans alive. Vessels are your best bet, so it's advised to get them early.
