The crowds in the stands were beginning to go wild. The living trees doing their best to take down the Jarian but failing only to the point of slowing her down.

Desta was tense and excited as many Starunes held up signs that formed Brett when looked at at the right angle.

"You need the darkness! Submit! Bow to the darkness and bow to me."
Ansem called to Brett as they came next to each other.
"Unbind your heart and take control of the darkness within."
He grinned.
"See the power of Darkness. I, Ansem, will not yeild to a frail hearted craven."
With that statement, he fired a ball of pure Darkness at Brett's mech.

Brett got a strange vibe from this guy, and it wasn't good. Brett remembered the destruction in Kabina, the injured and dead, that man had done it! "Brett opened a comm link with beginer. "I think there's someone who we both want to take down here. It's the guy who attacked Kabina." He closed the comm link and made so his voice could be heard outside the mech. "You really think so huh? We'll see about that! This is for Kabina!" Brett's mech punched the blast and was struggling to hold it back. Finally, it seemed to hit him. "I...will never let anyone attack Kabina again!!" The motherboard of Brett's mech emitted a bright light and all of the elements, save for dark, seemed to gather into the mech's fist. A bright light enveloped the mech, and it knocked the energy, now pure light, back at Ansem. "Eat this you dirtbag!! The darkness will never win!" Brett felt like it was he who knocked the energy back.

Ansem's cycle did a barrel roll to avoid Brett's awkward counterstrike.
"You would chain your heart with false memories? Cast your hearts freedom aside?
You turn from the truth because your heart is weak."
His face contorted into a menacing frown.
"I am not Alabaster Soluna. Kabina's fate was his doing, but it is fools like you who brought about its destruction."
He chuckled.
"There is so very much to learn.
One who knows nothing can understand nothing."
