My friend called me last night to brag about getting GH3 before me.

Gameplay
Another thing that matters the most is gameplay! This gameplay will be similar to Rock Band's,if not,exactly like it.
Instruments
You need instruments to play right? Well,Guitar Hero:World Tour's instruments consist of...
Guitar-This will be a bit like Rock Band's and will include 5 extra frets below the normal frets in which you can alter the sound of sustained notes,to strum without strumming. OR you can still use the older Guitar Hero controllers. With this,you can do solos without having to strum.
Drums-The drums for World Tour consist of 2 cymbals,a snare,2 toms,and a bass pedal. And you can use Rock Band's drum kit,which will reduce the drum track to 4 notes and a bass bar.
Microphone-It will be USB connected,but you will have to use a controller to navigate.
And for ALL instruments,you can customize your own instrument
Characters
For Guitar Hero:World Tour you can create your own character. Yes,you heard me right. But if you'd rather not,there's always famous guitarists you can choose from. Such as...

Yep,you read the title right. CUSTOM SONGS. You can customize your own songs to play and share with other people all over the world using Xbox Live,Playstation Network,and Nintendo Wi-Fi. Sadly,you cannot sing due to copyright concerns.Advanced Mode will also be available. Activision employees stated that they were able to perform a near perfect version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
Downloadable Content
Downloadable content will be available for ALL SYSTEMS including the Wii,but not for the PS2. This is the first time DLC is available for the Wii.
