I think it's safe to say that we have a lot of fantasy addicts in this guild. I used to be really into the genre too, but lately I have found myself craving other genres. I guess I have just about burned out on fantasy adventures for the time being...

hmmm.... i read mostly anything but i guess fantasy and sci-fi would have to be my most read. My mother reads romance and mistry type books so she makes me read everything that she does. but i do the same so it's all good. sweatdrop

I'm not really big on reading non-fiction books much but I do have a couple (Anne Frank, The Diary of a Young Girl & Chinese Cinderella. I've notticed that most of my non-fiction books are tragedies. Coincidence? Don't think so.) I love fantasy and vampiric fiction. I tend to dislike when the story of the books is limited to what can happen by the laws of our world. Fantasy allows the impossible to be possible which is probably which attracts me the most. The idea of unicorns being alive, engaging in curious conversation with elves, fighting dragons, and dying for what I believe in, good or bad, seems to be the most saddeningly beautiful thing that I can believe.

I would say the books I like to read the most are fiction comedy/romance, horror, fantasy/romance, modern romance, and probably science fiction/fantasy kind of thing. For the last one, the kind of science fiction I prefer isn't where there are aliens and spaceships, but more so as in books like "A Wrinkle in Time" or possibly something like what Garth Nix writes.

Well, I use to be big on fantasy, then I shifted over to sci-fi, after that I spent a little time with mystery books, but in the end went back to fantasy again.

I think I like dragons and such a bit too much ... xd

Fiction, mostly chic-lits, dramas, happily-ever-afters, anthologies, humorous, adult books written about teens...and non-fiction books on psychology.
The only thing I don't read much of is fantasy.

Right now it really seems that I'm into contemporary fiction. Such as God of the Small Things by Arundhati Roy and Such is my Beloved by Morley Callaghan.
