Kairi watched as Sora left with Riku. She could see from the look in his eyes that whatever they were going to do....it would be dangerous. "Sora....be careful..." she whispered to herself rather then anyone. She wanted him to hear, but he was too far away.

The redhead pulled her good luck charm out of her pocket and squeezed it tightly to her chest. She ran up a bit, placing her hands around her mouth to try to expand the sound, "You guys better come back, ok!? You promised! We'll stick together...right?" she smiled at them. Kairi trusted them with whatever.

If they didn't want her to go and see whatever they were going to do...she'd stay and wait.

She would wait forever.

PORTTTTT

Goddamnit Reno. While Rufus would never ever dare to doubt his Turk's abilities... the red-head almost always seemed to piss off the wrong people. Lips turned downward into a distinct frown, eye narrowing. The blonde didn't know the two kids too terribly well, but... they had a story too. A story that had all to do with the Heartless and he was sure that they had been battling the demon spawn longer than the residents of Gaia. One never burned one's bridges, no matter how angry. It always came back around.

"Reno." He leveled a cool gaze at the other Turk, expression the picture of something akin to ice. Gone was the humor, the "rookie". What was left was the mask he had used, once upon a time, to rule Midgar. Fearless, icy, almost cruel. Arms crossed, adding to his offensive stance.

"Don't assume. Ever."

With that, the blonde strode past his Turks, intent on following the two rather angry teens. Sure, things wouldn't be perfectly peachy between them... but this was Rufus Shinra. He was known for diplomatically patching things up that looked near impossible to do.

After all, he was a Shinra.

Outside the warehouse ...thing

Riku wrinkled his nose, dragging himself into a sitting position. Did I just hear something? Maybe I'm going crazy, but no harm in looking... He wasn't afraid of Anti-Sora getting him per se, but this was still a strange place, and there was no telling what weird things were lurking here, not to mention regular Heartless.

He thought he saw a bit of white among the buildings further into the town, and he elbowed Sora to get his attention. "What is that..." he murmured, forcing himself up to his feet.

"Hey! HEY!" He felt stupid, but for the sake of his sanity-- "Identify yourself! Friend or foe?!"

He glanced at Sora, feigning a horrified look. "I can't believe I just said that," he said.

Warehouse..... thingy.

Rufus was not lost. No. Rufus Shinra was never lost. He was just taking a longer route to his destination. A longer, darker.... slightly creepier route. For a moment, he almost missed the presence of Tseng, pointing him in the right direction. No, no. The blonde shook his head. He couldn't always rely on Tseng. After all, the Turk was still human. Things happened, people passed on.

Walking through the eerily silent port town, the ex-President spotted a fow of warehouses close by. They stood, silhouetted by the silver disc of a moon, black against the illumination. Although the sight was rather spooky, it was also intriguing, and he carefully watched as he walked past, looking for those two kids. A voice cut through the night, and immediately, a hand flew to his shotgun. Blue eyes narrowed, squinting to get a better look (how that worked, he never knew.) Up ahead... there were the two teenagers he had been looking for. Riku and.... and... Sora.

Hands went up in a "surrender" as he walked over cautiously. "Does hating the heartless make me a friend?" He asked, giving the boy a somewhat sheepish look.

Outside the Warehouse

Riku smirked. Another of the Turks, huh. If he remembered the faces right, this was the one who was in control of the others- at least, the first couple Turks had shown him an underling's respect.

"I guess you could say that," he said, settling into a more comfortable position, sliding his feet apart a little so he could support himself a little bit sturdier without leaning against anything... wouldn't that just look wonderful.

"Can we help you?"

Outside the warehouse

Tseng had been very much less than impressed by his subordinate's angered diatribe, but giving him a good talking-to in front of everyone present instead of the privacy of the Turk offices seemed to be in bad taste.

Besides, the President had already handled that for him. Keeping his silence and watching Rufus Shinra resume his usual expression, the ruthless, brilliant man who ruled Midgar with an iron fist, he almost smiled. How long had it been since he'd slipped into that role?

If Rufus Shinra ruled with an iron fist, Tseng knew, the Turk Commander was the iron. Sent to do the...dirtier jobs that secured the President's seat and ensured his power, Tseng kept the pristine prince's hands clean and watched his back.

That was the way it always happened, and the Turk Commander hardly minded. His loyalty was given to Rufus Shinra back in Junon, and it was absolute.

He would follow this man wherever he went.

Only...Tseng really didn't think that Rufus had very much of a sense of direction. Literally. There was a much faster way to get to where he wanted, but nooooo...the man had to get them lost and pretend that it was a city tour of sorts.

They stopped, and Tseng's keen senses picked up the presence of the two teens. Eyeing the way the blonde instinctively reached for his shotgun and wondering if Rufus was a little more tense than he looked, the Turk dutifully followed the President as he moved, as always, a point and three steps behind, just like he'd always done for Vincent and Veld.

Outside the Warehouse

"Hey, ow," Sora protested as Riku elbowed him at a particularly tender part of his side. The wound there was still healing, and it hurt, darn it. Getting to his feet as well, Riku's next words bringing the tension back, he instinctively moved to summon his Keyblade when the blonde man and the scary...other man emerged.

Well...okay. At least this wasn't Reno. And that this blonde man was actually kinda nice.

"Does hating the heartless make me a friend?

Sora had to smile at that. He wasn't really picky when it came to making friends; as long as they were nice and they weren't actively trying to kill him or any of his other friends, the Keyblade Master pretty much treated them as his friends.

His hand relaxing, Sora flashed the blonde a friendlier smile, as compared to his companion. The guy's name was...Rufus, right? At least that was what he heard from the blonde Turk lady. "Hi, Rufus, and um..." What was the other guy's name again...? Oh. Right. "Tseng."

Port

Jack had stopped and turned around, basically waiting. Tapping his foot impatiently, Jack watched as the black-haired-one and the blonde that had come from that very, very unique ship which Jack wanted to get his hands on.

"Come come, now. We don't have all day, lads. Are you coming?"

Outside the Warehouse

He glanced at Sora, a plot forming in his mind.

"Hey, guys... tell you what, we'll meet you back at the Port- I think I forgot something back in the warehouse, lemme go get it. But... there's no sense in you guys waiting for us. We'll be fine."

Without waiting for any responses, he turned around and took several measured steps toward the warehouse door, trying to keep his balance long enough to get past the door.

He could slump to the ground once he was inside, after all.

Giving them a brief wave, Sora smiled at them and entered the warehouse as well, not quite sure what Riku had in mind, exactly.

"We'll see you guys back there!"

Carefully pulling the door shut behind him and securing it, Sora headed inside, his eyes darting around at the crates of things that were in here. Casting a glance at Riku, he immediately went over to the other boy, concerned. "Hey, Riku! Are you okay??"

~~

Watching as the door shut, Tseng turned to leave. The boys were quite evidently wounded, and judging fron the things he'd seen online... he knew that it would be wise not to ask too many questions. At this moment, at least. Perhaps Rufus' nonexistent sense of direction was a good thing, after all, allowing the Turk Commander to surf through the networks while following behind the blonde.

"Let's go back, Rufus. There's nothing you can do for the moment."

Warehouse

Riku bent over a bit, bracing a hand against the wall. "What? I'm fine." He shook his head, trying to clear the haze. "So. What do you think are in these crates anyway?" He dusted his palms off on his jeans and walked over to the first crate, peeling the lid away, hoping they'd find something that would make sure they didn't have to go all the way to Jack for some rum...

Moving over almost immediately, Sora caught his wrist, his eyes narrowing in concern. "Hey....let me do this, okay? You go and sit down; your wounds haven't healed yet." Actively trying not to think about how it was his fault to begin with, he smiled over at the other boy and gestured to the ground.

"Go on, go take a seat, I'll handle it." It's the least I can do, after all.

Kairi sat down on the ground and waited for Sora and Riku's return. She decided to talk to Xemnas, who looked a bit lost, "Hey, are you doing ok...?" she tilted her head and asked, "If you need something just tell me, ok? Sora will be back in a bit."

She hoped.

Will turned to Jack, "I suppose if they don't want to go...but...I want to see what's going on. Wait for me, Jack" waving his hand in a signaling motion, Will made his way to the warehouse and away from the pirate. He opened the door and looked inside.

He saw the one boy--Riku, looking at the crates. "Those would be imports from nearby towns. Food, Drink, Clothing, Metals...basic things." he folded his arms and looked at the two.

"Now, are you all coming with us on another adventure, or not?" Will smiled, a bit of a boyish grin for his age, but he wanted to lighten the two up. From the looks of it, whatever they did took it's toll. They could use a bit of cheering up.

Warehouse

Riku sighed, but did as Sora ordered and took a seat.

And promptly had a near heart attack when Will spoke.

"GAH! Oh. Will. Hi." He took a deep breath and clutched a hand over his chest. "Thanks, look, we'll meet back up with you at the port, okay? We're fine here."

He sighed, leaning back against the wall and watching Sora.

Warehouse

Will nodded, slightly amused at the boy's antics, "Alright, We'll be waiting...but I can't say that Jack will wait forever. He lives on rum." he turned and left the two, making his way back to the port.

"Jack, they'll be out shortly. Then we can leave."
