broken_91 Kirby ...um, duh. Holes is the best 1-day book I ever read (I read fast XD) And Harry Potter 6 is definitely the best one. I couldn't stop reading it (22 hours, HA! Beat that!) Only, GOF was the best plot-wise. Ms. Rowling has a way with words >.< Okay, I have you beat SO bad- try around ten. It SOUNDS outragrous... but I read uncommonly fast. I was done with it before lunch time and I started as soon as I got it in my hot little hands.
Its slightly annoying to read that fast though.. everyone asks: are you skimming? NO DAMMIT, I"M NOT.
Anyways. Tamora Pierce writes amazing books. The Dark Elf Trilogy by someone was AMAZING and there are lots MORE books that come after it. -glee-
Uhm.. other good books. A good girly series starts with Sloppy Firsts, Charmed Seconds.. yadda yadda. I forget the author.. again. But oh well. Amusing books.
Lets seeeeee.. Eragon and that trilogy-- it forces me to go Valley and OMGOMGOMG. I loooooove them~
More good books... LOTR. You can't miss them. They are a definate read for your life series.
Heh.. I'll be quiet now. You're the greatest, NOT ONLY did you beat me >___> (wtf?) but you read all the same books as me! Have you ever read Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce? She's my hero, she's written like thirty books! Never heard of that second one. But Eragon is so inspiring, it's a good book and it was written by a fifteen-year-old, too! It makes me happy >.< For my book WILL be published before I turn 17! LOTR is soething everyone on the earth should read. Period. You;re awesome. heart

-laughs- Yeah.. I have created a reading monster out of myself.. Heh.
AND YES I READ WILD MAGIC. -glee- I own the entire Allana series....but someone stole them and I haven't managed to get them back get. Curse you Sara.
And Storm Constantine writes amazing books.
And I took a claaaaaaaass on Tolkien~ So much fun. So much crazy. So much.. awesomeness.
And I AM awesome. mrgreen

Good books, eh? Where to begin?
All right, I recently read The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Stunning book. Wonderful in every sense of the word. Rather renewed my hope in the Arthurian legends. I also read Dragon's Bait by Vivian Vande Velde. Really short, but good. Lord of the Flies by William Golding for Honors Lit. Really good in the end. Right now, I'm reading The Forest House by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Prequel to MoA. Also, Cry, the Beloved Country by Alan Paton for Honors Lit. And, of course, I'm rereadingHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling just because. So, some absolutely stunning books I'd like to take some time to recommend to all: (I'll limit to ten neutral ) 1. Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier. This book blew me away. Masterful storytelling; never once does it falter. Highly suggested to anyone who likes realistic fantasy with just a dab of romance. Hell, highly suggested to anyone who likes a good story. 2. Virtually any book by Tamora Pierce. What can I say? She's amazing. 3. Eragon andEldest by Christopher Paolini. So, I've met Christopher, and he's a very kind person. He deserves to be so famous. And he's a complete and total geek. And I love him for it heart heart And the movie comes out in about a month. Hollywood, here I come heart 4. The Pendragon series by DJ MacHale. My friend let me borrow the 7/8 that are out. FINISHED THEM ALL IN A WEEK. One of the most stressful weeks of my life. It's not fair for a book to be so much better than all the others on the shelves. 5. Any book written by Anne McCaffrey. Love fantasy? You will worship her. 6. Heir Apparent by Vivian Vande Velde. Girl gets stuck in a virtual video game. Girl must beat the game, or risk death. Hilarity ensues. 7. Blink by Ted Dekker. I'm told it's a Christian book. Guy starts getting visions of possible futures. Girl comes into guy's life, needing help. Thrills ensue. 8. The Silver Surfer by Stan Lee. neutral Amazing. 'Nuff said. 9. The Sabriel novels by Garth Nix. Wonderfully written. Fast paced, mysterious novels. 10. The His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman It's being made into a movie rofl rofl rofl
Anyone else need something to read, just ask. I've got plenty more to go on. 3nodding

'Course, if I wasn't so easily distracted by the simplest things (or trying to count how many times the word "snog" was used in its various forms ^_^) I might've been able to read it faster. (Oh, wonders of a short attention span...) xd

My favorite book of all time...
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" By Stephen Chbosky
This Book.. made me Cry soo Much. And it is only 200 and some pages.
You all need to take some time to read it, and for the speed readers.. slow down and take in the meaning. I did for this book.. and it was worth it.

I finished Terriers (DON'T EVEN GO THERE. ):< ), and I read The Valley of the Horses by Jean M. Auel, and am currently reading Rite of Conquest by Judith Terr.
One word on the Earth's Children series by Jean M. Auel: SEX.
Read only if you're mature. If you think you are, and then giggle, you're probably not. Hell, if you think you are, you're probably not. The first one wasn't too bad; the chick got raped, but it wasn't really in detail, but this one WHOA. So. It's a great series, but...
A warning.
Another book similar: The Horse Whisperer.
Your friendly neighborhood Jub, reading books so you don't have to explain to your parents why you've got porn in words under your bed.
