KunoichiShouri Yeah. He does look older and grizzlier. I thought he looked better in the anime... I agree Lol. Well anyway. I think that in TRY it shows Zela's personality a little too. Remeber. Zelas let Phibrizo BORROW Xelloss. So Xelloss had to follow Phibrizo's will. BUT in TRY Zelas had him once againe. And so that must mean that Xelloss was natrually following Zelas's orders and will... So maby that just means that Zelas's personality must have been part of Xelloss's behavior. Hellmaster also wanted Xelloss to play it undercover and thats the way he likes to do things. So ive heard. Remeber he also at one point played the part of " Cute & Innocent"

Yeah. Well, I guess whatever it takes him to complete a mission, Xellos would do it. Although he really wasn't too keen on obeying Hellmaster, he did it anyway.
This really isn't related, but one of my favorite moments in Try was when Valgaav was giving the "trapped in the endless cycle" shpeel... now that I'm typing this, I'm getting a strong sense of deja vu. Did I already say this? sweatdrop Oh well. To continue, the "They're rebelling against their creator!" It looked like it struck a serious nerve in Xellos. I guess that's the worst thing a Mazouku could ever do. It's violating their entire purpose of existance.
Yeah... I think about that stuff too much.

Yeah, Xellos looked like he didn't like the idea much. I remember that. And then when Valgaav dragged them all to that other demention-plane thing, Xellos was getting all hurt... why was that again?

He was attacking them via the astral plane (the only real way to hurt Xellos).

Yea...The others weren't hurt cause thier astral forms are just a little human speck anyay. But since Xelloss is just as powerfull as some higher ranking monsters. He should be much more effected by astral plane attacks. And Zelgadis said somthing about being " Riped" From the Astral plane.

So he was attacking them with astral plane attacks? Why did he need to go to that weird other demention thing to do that though? Or does that have nothing to do with it?

I believe that was to distract them. It's like flicking someone on the face while you kick their shin. They're going to notice and react to the face before they even realize you've kicked them.
Giving you time to run away.

You're talking about the Valgaav Torture session, right? I'm not entirely sure how that attack was accomplished. I'm sure it looked different on the astral plane... I don't think those were versions or copies of himself. My theory is that he manifested points of his astral form. Like goo growing many different arms to poke into the physical plane. Only a cone... does that make sense?
