Exodus 15:2 and 3
One of my fave verses. It gives me relief during tough times. 15:2
The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
I am having trouble understanding 15:3.
The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name.
What does it mean that the Lord is a man of war? I don't understand that part.

It means he fights. He is not a God that lets us fight for him. He wages his own battles, we are his tools of battle.
