I'm in Middle School.
I start 7th grade this August, but I'm in the Advanced Band (or Symphonic), which contains mostly eighth graders.
I feel so nerdy. heart

I'm an eigth grade aux. percussionist. Okay, so I'm not technically an aux. percussionist, but that's mostly what I play. For example, in my last concert I played: chimes, bells, timpani, and crash cymbals. I play tuned instruments a lot since I also play piano. That means I already have the keyboard organization and the staff memorized. Although, I am evil twisted

I am going into 8th grade next year. I am in Advanced Band, the best band we have this year. I am very excited ^^

I'm going into eighth grade next August. We've been out of school for at least two weeks now. My band director gave us an option of 2 periods of band where one is an automatic 100 and just time to practice and all. I jumped at the idea and was one of the first three on the list. We also just got a new bandroom, but it is really a new band building. Almost the size of the band building dedicated to the band director of the local high school.

I'm in middle school, starting seventh grade this august. Gonna try out for the wind ensemble! biggrin , and maybe go to england and paris during spring break the the eighth grade wind ensemble...if i'm good enough sweatdrop

I remember middle school.....I'm a rising sophomore. Our MS was the best in the county.....which is saying a lot. Good times, good times.

I'll be in 7th this year with the the three geeks(boys 3 to 1) 1=Me 3= the guys I'm the only girl Trumpet player xp xp and that suxs

Ah...middle school. Good times, good times. I used to love it. The tests, the 1st chairness. It was a blast. Then I tranferred schools in 8th grade and it messed everything up...But. High school's fun and you middle school kids'll like it. ^^

I;m starting my last year in the middle school band in September ( crying ), with a new BD because our lame-o head master decided that it was a good idea to only pay her half of what her contract was, so she left. Everybody cried. It was funny because the new BD (who teaches senior band) was in her office and everbody said really loudly, "we're gonna miss you, because the new BD is a b***h!" lol.. we are gonna have a lot of trouble in the fall!
What instruments does everyone play?

What instruments does everyone play? hey i can kinda relate to that cuz last year we had a new BD (who sux and is an a-hole) the one we had the year before that was awesome and this new one really sux and is a b***h to everyone and nobody likes him but ya anyways only reason im doing band this year is so i can stay caught up so i can do it in highschool unless i would have done another exploritory or w/e its called but ya anwyas i play claranet- what about you?
