BE If I were to get pregnant now, I'd abort. Why? Because I'm not ready.Not because I want to "go out and party". It's because I want to finish my education and get a decent job before even thinking about bringing something into this world. And who says all those girls get it because they "want to party"? That's so much bullshit wrapped into one little sentence it makes me want to vomit. If you mess up and get pregnant dont take the easy out own up to your screw ups and grow up when you get pregnant the party needs to end.

I'm working my a** off with practically no time to party. When, in my busy cirriculum, am I going to raise a child? When can I afford to take time off from my studies to birth a baby I don't want?I'm not partying. Don't stereotype women who get abortions for valid reasons. Abortion is hardly, HARDLY the easy way out. And on a side note: are you calling that "possible" baby a screw up? How loving.

I am a mother I almost got an abortion, but I decided it was not right to do somthing because I could handle it yet. I grew Up real fast I said mistake because that is what most people think unwanted pregnancy is but when you hold a child in your arms the first time you understand. My son was unplanned but i love him and I think that people should own up if your not gonna use birth control and get pregnant grow up and take care of it. As for school and money I was in college still living with my parents If I can pull it off other people can too.

I take birth control, and use condoms.

Most people are not that responsible and those who are not and get into that situation need to own up. I am tired of convenience abortions, believe it or not I dont have any major problems with abortion except this. It should never happen if you messed up and just dont feel like dealing with it. I messed up but I grew up and dealt with starting a completly new life, I just think people who are to immature to do the same shouldnt be having sex to begin with.

Wow. Calm down, you two. Reasonably, there are a great deal of people who aren't ready to have sex, become pregnant or even to terminate the pregnancy, when the situation arises.
Not everyone who abstains from sex is doing it for a particularly healthy or sound reason and not everyone who handles sex by terminating an unwanted pregnancy is mature or responsible. Period.

Not everyone who abstains from sex is doing it for a particularly healthy or sound reason and not everyone who handles sex by terminating an unwanted pregnancy is mature or responsible. Period. Debate? Who is debating? Certainly not you or her. You are both simply relying on emotions and generalizations to push your opinions forward. That's all fine and dandy, becuase this is a rant thread, but do try to keep things civil, that's it. Nobody is telling you not to argue. I mean, after all, someone said something about trying to keep things neutral (which I don't understand, because this topic runs entirely contrary to that concept). Don't get all booty-hurt just because i'm attempting to keep you both from filling page after page with ineffective arguments. Rant all you want.
