KirliaEmi I think the dubbed voices focused more on the person's personality (or at least what it would've been in America). 3nodding XD That's why Yoh sounds stoned. JK!! You can't really focus a voice on anything...if they did it by personality do you really think Ren would have the dubbed voice that he does?? And for Cherry, they probably intentionally made Anna's voice that way.

They made Yoh sound like a carefree boy,
Morty sounds like a geek,
Anna sounds like a bossy, pushover,
Zeke sounds mature,
Faust sounds sickly,
Trey sounds like a sports-activist,
Len sounds British (history),
Jun sounds like an older sister, kind of like a girly-girl.
Then:
Yoh sounds like a little boy,
Manta sounds like a shorty,
Anna sounds imperial,
Hao (I don't know),
Faust (I don't know sweatdrop ),
Horo Horo really sounds like a boy with a dedicated job (saving the Koro Pokkuru),
Ren sounds his age (even though he doesn't look like it),
Jun sounds like an older sister who wants to protect her brother.

Ex. Bleach, Samurai 7 ( : D Who also keeps the suffixes!!), Pretear, FMA, Peacemaker, Saiyuki, etc. The list goes on.

I don't really mind dubs, cause it makes me understand it more but what I hate about 'em is that they CHANGE the names and sometimes the story! I mean, where the hell did they get "Zeke" out of "Hao"?!!?!?!? What's up with that?! And moreover, they changed the part why Anna got engaged to Yoh! Anna did not save him! They just got engaged over family stuff! mad but, all in all It's still a good anime dubbed version or not! 4laugh
