syrius had been quiet up until now but edwards, strange, saneness had thrown her off. She frowned holding the usually manic kat in her arms she looks to min as she enterd the tent, feeling a little worried though she said nothign, she would wait and see what would happen. Her tail flickerd behind ehr as she petted the fiery plushiekat. She sighed she'd sleep in the open if at all, edwards weid mood frightend her more than usual, he wasn't usually this quet for any reason, maybe the fire would calm him down.

Edward lay silent in His 'owners' arms he kept her in his oppinion not the other way around. His fiery orbs were wide in confusion and he was silent, silent and yet so aware that he had seen this before? He frowns and looks to the other people, to the otehr kats "why are we home?" he whispers mostly too himself it sounded like one of his usual rambles only it was more, well sensible. He blinks a few times looking to the leader of this expedition. "Mintaka, edward been here before?" he tilts his head almost loking like he had broken his neck in the process of doing that "Ed no liking, go someplace else, disney land or shangrala" he blinks again burying his head in syrius' arms "shangrala not at all scary, oh no ed been there in his dreamings." he goes silent a puuring escaping his being as he lay there, puuring more of adefence than a feeling of happiness, he felt shockled, he shouldn't know this place, he didn't know any place..or..or should he?

Manda had followed the others through the portal, Fiala in her arms and Nash draped over her shoulders. She looked around as the buzzing faded away, feeling Nash bound down off her shoulders. "Be careful," she called to him.

Nash imediately began exploring, but cautiously. He may be young, but he had been in danger before and knew enough not to go running off. Soon enough, he found a fairly nice spot for their tent, with a nice tree he could sleep in nearby. "Hey, over here!" he called.

Manda, who had been wandering around a bit, went over to where Nash was.

"Can we camp here? I like the tree..."

Manda laughed slightly. "Sure, why not." She glanced down to Fiala. "What do you think?"

For the first time since arriving, Fiala stirred in her arms and looked up at her. Looks all right to me ... She seemed distracted.

"What's wrong?"

I ... I don't know. This place just feels weird. But after a moment, she shook herself and hopped down out of Manda's arms, wandering around with Nash while Manda started setting up their tent and etc.

Edward peered over syrius' arms he looked goggle eyed at the other kats aroundhim "shh go home, tis bad" he looked about worriedly his ears high in the air "hummmmm..whats with the noise" he chatters again the fur on his neck standing on wend the flame on his tail becoming a beacon rather than just a tiiny flame before he hid his face again his body dithering "set things right mintaka, needs much to be set right yesh"

Syrius sighs shaking her head a shiver ran down ehr spine at her kats ramblings it was strange how reasoned he sounded. She ran her fingers through his coat and snuggles him "it'll be alright edward, you#ll see we'll make it okay" she frowns, she hoped that was true she was used to a rather insane edward but he was at least always happy, this was a frightend rather sane worried edward, which made her worry too.

Prox settles down inside a tent to sleep lightly, his ears flicking at every sound. Teratus crouches beside him, eyes half-shut and glowing faintly.

Tenae paces around the campsite, and eventually settles himself near Ryllika, ears swiveling back and forth constantly. He looks a touch more high-strung than usual, and is still unusually taciturn.

Seirin pounces at leaves and stalks of grass, carrying on a quiet running commentary about "the mighty hunter," but taking care to stay out of the way - if only to prove her big brother wrong about that.

Syrius's tail twitched, she had napped holding edward like a plushi but as his claws touched her arm and the flame on his tail slowly burnt a hole in her trouser leg she was braught back to attention "Owwie1" She jumps patting out the flame and setting Edward down stwiftly so she could look at the claw marks, only slight. She shook her head and looked at the little tomkat.

His claws his the ground and Ed became a tuny ball of fluff and fire, lots on the ground almost , scrunched up in to the tightest ball possible "back up back up!" he mewls looking up at His keeper wide eyed, being ont he ground in this place was scary, he felt things he didn't wnat to feel when he hist the ground "Pick me back up please thankyou!" he yammers, holding out his little claws like a child until Syrius lifted him in to her arms. "somones coming, whos coming, am awake, am awake ..whos coming though? not good WAKE UP!" he snaps in to the camp his eyes wide and frightend he shiverd quietly, he was frightend, only sane creatures were frightend, being frightend made him rather terrified.

Pandara's ears twitch, she is drowsy for a second but quickly realises what is going on and leaps up, and seems very nervous but ready. She pulls out a sling and rock as she heads towards the nearest tree wanting to ask if it can see what lies ahead.

Keelin wakes and stands near Pandara and Prescott ready to defend if necessary, her panpipes held close

Prescott jumps up as Padara does and stands in front of the group in a very guarded position.

Manda quickly tumbled out of her tent, her own sword in hand, with Fiala close behind.

The Kat's fur was puffed out, eyes darting everywhere. What is it, what's going on, who's coming? she demanded of the camp at large.

"Hush, I don't know..." Manda told her, looking around.

Nash glided down from the tree where he had been sleeping to stand at Manda's feet along with Fiala, also wary. His wings twitched in agitation and his claws kneaded the ground as he turned his head from side to side, listening with pricked ears.

((I randomly gave myself a sword ... I really need to figure out what kinda powers I have too sweatdrop ))

Terr is on her feet instantly, one hand holding her bleached-wood staff and preparing the only thing she had time for - a simple blind-spell that missed half the time. If nothing else, it might startle the intruder. She holds the spell for the moment, waiting at least for a target to aim at.

Ryllika is slower to wake, having finally fallen asleep. After a brief moment of blinking around, she scampers to join Terr at the edge of the clearing.. if hiding slightly behind her human.

Rytheal, the calmest of the bunch, quietly begins to gather the group's pack together, should they need to leave in a hurry. He is sharply on alert, particularly wary of any noises from other directions. After all, predators (and humans) usually attack in packs.
