I suppose they do. You're last post was very Voltaire-like. I don't particularly agree with you, but I'd just like to thank you for posting, it was very insightful.

I'm just curious how she got 'Jesus freak' out of that? ...

Anyway, I'm no Volitare, I don't do satire very well actually, besides, my works all fiction that looks nothing like reality- I suppose in some of my shorter story ideas (unfinished sadly) I deal with some moral issues- though not in a moral-sounding manner- as in the story is in no way preachy but should leave the reader thinking about the implications.

Actually I'll be more specific with two examples.

A story I've planned out but haven't sat down to write, in involves a male main charater, he's happily married and loves his wife, comes across the girl he loved from High School, and the story is most about the fact that he honestly loves both women, and not just in a physical way (I have the ending, but won't spoil it.. as I've encorperated that plot into another of my stories so I'll eventually get it written.)

and another story, a strait guy, who finds himself in love physically with his male best friend, completly strait, despite sexual relations with his friend, but when his friend discovers his own sexuality, and wants to persue an actual relationship with his friend, it ends up spoiling their friendship. (the point behind this story is an attempt at difernciating between 'love' and sexuallity ie sexual prefernce. You can 'prefer' one gender, and still fall in love with someone or be actracted to someone outside of that prefernce- it doesn't change the preference itself- but that's an even longer rant in itself. My beef that people get too wrapped up in defining sexual prefernce based on individual instances. A man or woman can find one member of a gender or race appealing, and still have no interest in the rest, their prefernce of course is not for that gender or race, but theres still the issue of the individual case of love outside the preference.)

It is stupid.

Why can't some just understand that it's your preference. I dunno if you were born with that preference or not...but that doesn't matter. You feel better with the same or opposite gender, then that's fine. And it should be to everyone.

Here's a short funny story. I told some people I was gay and it leaked out. This one guy who found out seemed to think I was hitting on him if I coughed near him. One day he tried to beat me up for no real reason. I think fighting is stupid, so I didn't fight back. He punched me and it didn't really hurt so I went to hit his chest with my palm to knock him back and I missed greatly and hit him in the nose. I broke his nose. I felt so bad. But it's funny. Cause now I'm the crazy guy who'll punch you for no reason

How come you got expelled? or is it one of those "don't ask, don't tell" kind of things?

I hate it when I find people that say that... how is it wrong?
Is it wrong to be in love with someone?

Of course not! Most of the time people think it's wronge because "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"...I don't like it when people tell me that... Well, I'm Agnostic, so I don't really beleive in God...but from what I get out of what other people say...God also made people with emotions, and one of them is Love. So I don't see the big deal about loving someone, even if they are the same sex as you... but then again, thats just my oppinion...not sure how other people feel, so KEEP POSTING!! 3nodding

People always asks what causes homosexuality, but they never ask what causes heterosexuality. And if you say that to a homophobe, their response is "heterosexuality is natural" or "it's normal" or "it's what god intended." GAH! I'm sick of hearing that! There is no cause for any of it. Love is love, period. Why can't they just accept that?

I'm probably gonna get nailed for this and perhaps I should, but does anyone find your "Friends don't let friends go straight" banner or whatever offensive? Is that for gays or lesbians who go straight or is that regarding straight people as a whole?

I'm asking because it seems a bit extreme. If gay folks don't like people saying that being gay is wrong, isn't it the same thing if you say being straight is wrong, whether it's satiric or not?

Would you pissed if someone had a "Friends don't let friends go gay" in their signature?

Just wondering out loud. I don't understand what you mean by that, so I'm asking. Please don't be too pissed at me.

THANK YOU!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THAT THROUGH TO NIKKI FOR THE LONGEST TIME NOW!!!

Exactly what I've been trying to tell you Nikki. stare It's offensive to me and probably every other straight person. You act like we're a disease or something.

Now that's kind of unfair, since I don't act like homosexuality is a disease. It doesn't bother me in any way.

As long as you don't hurt children or force me to listen to your experiences.

Heterosexuality is what God intended, but then why would there be so many homosexuals now? God's the one putting them on this earth obviously, so don't yell at him about it.

Sernin, thank you for pointing this out. I was trying to get this through to Nikki but couldn't get it in the right words. You helped. 3nodding
