Friggin worst public schools in the country. (I go to private 8D)
Everything corrodes faster in ocean wind and humidity.
Getting stuff delivered from the mainland takes longer and is often more expensive.
People love SPAM, and I think it's pretty good. xP
And then there's the good stuff, which is what the brochures and commercials can tell you about.
So yeah, basically overrated to live here, especially if you don't like poi, or pineapples, or the beach, or swimming, or surfing, and after five years are totally sick of friggin hula. 8D
