You know ~nakuru-chan~ we are quite a bit alike. O.o We both talk to the voices, we both say muffin, we both love Fai... What do you look like? O.o *is scared for the answer* You don't have curly dirty blond hair do you? O.o And blue-ee, green-ee grey-ee, eyes? If you do then... Whoa... We need to figure out who's older to see who was cloned from who... or perhaps we are twins... Were you born on Jan 26, 1989...

Anyways, I got Tsubasa 5 and 6 last weekend. Best weekend EVER!

Can I interrupt this for some speculation? There's this lurvely picture on some chapter splash page in volume 4... ah, here it is... Foom. Why is Ashura holding Fai's staff, which, last time we checked, Yuuko had? Couple of possbilities I came up with. (The fact that Ashura's escaping doesn't surprise me, we all see it coming sometime) 1) Ashura has one like it Support: explains why Fai was so eager to get rid of his Um... Anti-Support? sweatdrop It's nowhere near him when he's sealed, if it exists. 2) Yuuko wakes Ashura. I find this idea pretty scary. Support: Am I the only one who gets the feeling Yuko thinks Fai's a cowardly brat? And she does help the alternate-dimension Ashura and will help anyone for a price. Fai's wish was to never go home, not to have Ashura stay asleep; she wouldn't be violating the contract at all. Anti-Support: It seems a little mean, even for Yuko. 3) CLAMP thought it made for a prettier picture. Support: ...Well, it IS likely. Anti-support: ....Well... it IS strange. So. Thought, theories, etc?

Thought, theories, etc? O.o Whatever the reason it can't be good... I think the Yuuko thoery you have makes sense... unless we are making to much of a deal about one picture... How much you wanna bet Fai dies at the end of the serise? I'd take that bet for a few reasons... 1. Every time I get attched to a character it's a death sentence... It's my curse... 2. Fai keeps saying he doesn't want to or "I can't die easily." or whatever. That alone tells you something with happen (stupid irony...). 3. Where would he be in the end? Kurogane goes home, Sakura and Syaoran go home and be in love and stuff, but Fai can't keep demension jumping forever. 4. If Fai does get into battle with King Ashura (which I'm sure will happen, you can't run away from your problems forever) and he does use his magic who knows what'll happen? I think the tatoo was more of a thing to keep his powers in check, not his source of magic. He could like explode everything and kill everyone including himself.

We already know his tattoo kept his magic in check. Yuuko told us that a while ago. And I also suspect he'll die for those and a few other reasons, mostly cause I don’t think he’ll fight back against Ashura. It’s part of my Fai theory (TM). ^_^
...I'm not so sure Ashura wants to kill him though. Part of my Fai Theory involves Ashura being more passive-aggresive. Maybe some physical punishment for whatever he did, but I think most of it will be more subtle (and arguably more painful).
...anyways, I'll stop obsessing. I might share my full Fai Theory sometime, but it's not terribly interesting. I over-analyze my favorite characters. biggrin

as for diana fayes appearance a few posts back, YOU LOOK ALOT LIKE ME! only my hair is more like light brown.

Thought, theories, etc? ...woah. you know...a bit back, nakuru-chan started talking about that chapter slash page(during last years star test thing). she thought that it meant ashura had awakened. maybe so, but wouldnt chi give a warning to fai..? anyways, my opinion: "yuko helps anyone" that is true. example: in vol 7, you find out that seishiro can travel through a limited variety of worlds, because he paid a price to yuko. however, i still just think that CLAMP just decided to make a pretty splash page. (if im wrong, you are allowed to laugh at my face.) -sakura

I sincerely doubt Ashura's already awakened. I get the feeling that Fai will know when he has- they have some sort of close bond, plus the Chii thing, and I think Fai will lose it (or at least act a LITTLE differently) when Ashura escapes. As for giving Diana Faye my full Fai Theory, I'll do it when I'm not feeling so lazy. biggrin also have a Syaoran mystery I'm trying to figure out, but again, I'm too lazy to find my evidence and stuff right now, so I'll put it up later. I'm a bit less enthusiastic about his puzzles. biggrin
