"Heh." Rika smiled cunningly. "Now what kind of good ninja would I be if I told you what I was up to?" She smirked and leaned with her back against the counter, her elbows resting on it as she played with the kunai stuck in the countertop. "The element of surprise my good friend, all will be revealed in good time." A small chuckle arose from her lips.

The delicate door was jarred by its sudden opening. The cause of the opening soon became clear- a slip of a girl stood in the doorway.
Not more than 16, she had shoulder length dark hair which was slightly curly , and sharp green eyes. Her skin was pale to the point of sickliness, but there seemed to be nothing ailing her. Her height almost matched the door ((which is supposed to be about 5"6, by the way)) and her attire was a simple white-green robe with a hood hurriedly pulled yet not quite covering her head. Her breath came in slight gasps, and she spoke, " Sorry, I'm meant to be here for the waitress occupation! My father set me up an interview with the owner, and I'm slightly late, I believe." Her tone apologetic, a slightly worried smile on her lips.

Rika looked up and smirked brightly at the girl who had entered, her sparkling green eyes holding a tinge of mischeif in them as she removed the kunai from the countertop and walked towards the girl. She towered over the girl by a good five inches. She stared intently at her for a few seconds before extending a hand for a welcoming handshake. "I gauge the time by the wind through the trees and the sun in the sky. There is a certain flow in which you expect things to happen, and as I expected the wind blew you here in its good time." There was a hint of playful mystery in her voice as she titled her head so that her smile was hiding behind the maple leaf headband that rested across her neck.

The girl eyed her new employer warily. Being from the country, speaking in tongues was not something she was used to. But a job was a job, and as her father always said, it never really mattered what you did as long as there was food on the table and calm in your heart, and also never to judge strangers. She took the hand and said, "I be a simple girl from the country, ma'am, and though I might not always understand completely when people choose to speak in riddles, I aim to serve well. The name's Vianne, ma'am."
