Reyairia ^Kishimoto drew that himself. And it was the original cover of 297 which still does feature Hinata. Whoot. surprised

Personally, I think at the moment NaruSaku is more canon than NaruHina. No one knows besides Kishimoto what he will do, but he's been leaving Hinata out of Naruto's life for a while now and instead of introducing her to help him through his problems, he brings in new characters.
If NaruHina was really to become canon, wouldn't Kishimoto have done a bit more at hinting it?
And if he said he was 'inspired by fillers', that could mean ANY of the fillers. It could mean the Naruto and Sakura ones, or the NaruHinaKiba ones. D: Really, people take it a bit too far.
You'll notice that during the time-skip, Sakura is shedding tears for Naruto like she did in the Sasame filler. Could he not have been inspired by THAT, filler? Just a question. Just my opinion. *sits in bomb shelter #1*

Maybe I am, but I'm not the ONLY person who sees it this way. But that's your opinion, and it's mine. I really am not in the mood to debate - the fact that I am here is probably making people go: Omg. or laugh. xD Expecially the....secret words. ._.
However....Your point on 'history repeats itself' (which you make VERY, VERY CLEAR) makes me think that....Does that mean Naruto and Gaara are both going to DIE? ._.
And plus, I think Sakura's going to become Hokage. XD *hit with bricks*
BUT THAT'S JUST ME! =3

Sakura the Sixth. XD Yes, it's gooood havin' those connections. ((Personally, I think INO would make a kick a** Hokage. xD I mean, if NARUTO could do it...*pushed off a cliff*))
I do agree with Uzu Saku-san, though, that in Part 2, NaruSaku is more "canon" But for obvious reasons...that Naruto and Sakura are spending more time with each other.
But I also can't see how all of Hinata and Naruto's hinting (because there was a buttload of it, contradiction to your post, Simone, no offense) in PART 1 could just be ignored. we haven't seen Hinata yes, really. So I'm looking foreward to seeing how Kishi will play the two out.
As for which I THINK will become canon, I'd guess at NaruHina, just because of the development specifically on the two, and the databook wording on the two. However, I have NO CLUE what Kishi is planning, and so for now, I'm just sitting back and waiting for a lot more interaction between Hinata and Naruto and Sakura before saying what I feel. Because to say something without seeing Hinata yet is a bit unfair, in my opinion.
I don't really like to take a side full-force when I don't have the amount of information I need to do it.

Watashi wa Hyuuga Hinata desu... I agree with Remedi...I mean its kind of off of circumstances....Hinata can't always be there for Naruto because they aren't on the same team and believe it or not Team Kurenai does have missions. Also, a lot of the chuunin exams has tons of hints of NaruHina...the whole blood vow and what not. But before Hinata is involved more in Part 2 I will say no more.
Ano...Naruto-kun...

BUT THAT'S JUST ME! =3 -yawns- No, since Team 7 is supposed to succeed where the Sannin didn't, as to surpass them, and NARUTO isn't going to end in tragedy. >_o Meanwhile, I have to find that counter-essay to Miyura-whats-her-face antiNaruHina rant. That woman scares me. ;o;

Sakura for Hokage! XD *has had an obsession with that* o-o It just sounds so awesome. xD *will write a fanfiction about that* sweatdrop
If I'm looking at Naruto too shallowy, maybe you're looking at it too logically? I mean, I know that, for a shonen manga, it's got a lot of deep stuff, but maybe....Kishimoto doesn't want us to think THIS hard. o-o
Then again, he might be sending me to my demise. :3 People do that to me. =D

Ever wonder how Shakespeare became famous? Because EVERY single sentence has symbolic meaning in it. I didn't notice until halfway through Romeo and Juliet. xD;;;;;

While in part 2 NaruSaku is pretty active right now I don't know if it will go anywhere. I just have this feeling that when Sasuke betrays oro and rejoins team 7 (Which is almost obvious) that Sakura will go back to being all over Sasuke. I know thats sad but I see Sakura seeing Naruto only as the runner up, likes him but really the person she would rather want is impossible right now. Maybe it won't happen but thats what I see.
Sadly i also don't see anything happening with Naruto and Hinata. She has still not told Naruto how she feels and now with how close Naruto and Sakura are in part two she may not want to.
Well guess we just have to wait and see.
