well it would be kind of hard to run a plot in this but...how about weekly 'story' events? like...a halloween event being um....ok heres a good example Attention Trainers!
The city of (a made up city for the guild) needs your help!
Wild ghost pokemon from the Haunted Plains are
swarming the city and attacking pokemon and humans alike!
Please, Help us!
Number of Pokemon Left to Be Defeated: 33
Number Defeated: 12
Sucessful Rescuers: 9
(trainers who have beaten at least one pokemon)
Time Left: 4 days 14:23 hours before the city is over run

From (mod running the event)
Greetings everyone and welcome to this weeks
event!
Now there are a few special conditions during an event.
The area it takes place in is off limits for normal training until the end of the event,
but if you're participating in taking out hte pesky
menaces, than come in!
Exp is doubled for participants for the duration of hte event in the area
of the event. Thats right, only 6 posts to level up!
Plus a nifty reward for all your hard work at the end of the week!
Please post here to note your pokemon 'KO count' so you can be put on the list for
rewards.
Upon successful completion of the event: Attention Trainers!
The city of (_____) has been saved!
Thank you to all trainers who helped in this daring rescue of
our fair city!
On behalf of the townspeople, we would like
to present you with the reward of 100 PP for every pokemon
you defeated!
And a special award of 1000 PP added bonus to
the brave trainer who courageously defeated more than
any other!
Thank you!

Special Thanks:

-claps- Kudos for Seikonai! GREAT idea i LOVE it ive been very busy latley and have been failing to get on gaia xp wich i am VERY sorry everybody... wow i get off easly well i like it and i think we should install it into the guild to make the guild funner (i dont care if its not a word!)

YAY *does the kudos dance* hee hee i loove coming up with these kinds of things xd do you want to kick off the first one or shall i? whee yeah when i really get into something i really get into it i mean overload of enthusiasm "lets do this this this this and this and how bout this? oh yeah and you can make this better by doing this" lol some people dont appreciate it XP i was kicked out of an RPing guild because i made 'too many suggestions' which REALLY means that the guild mods/leader were too lazy to implement them and didnt want me getting the members all excited you know? lol just let me know if im being hrm... too enthusiastic hee hee wink whee

but i think we need more wild pokemon in threads...in the game there way easier to find then they are now...

i have an idea when you update the annoucement start here thing please put the date it was updated cuz i always think its been updated again and you could change the date whenever you add a "special" pokemon it would look like this--updated mm/dd/yy thanks for hearing me...

A few things:
#1-Great way to set up the guild. It's pretty easy to understand, and pretty fun, too.
#2-I've found that many people are ignored in pokemon starter requests. It would help if you said why someone can't have the starter they want (ex. No shiny, ect.).
#3-I'm not trueely sure how catching pokemon works. After exploring for days now, I have not had the pleasure of seeing a single wild pokemon. Plus, I don't know how to get pokeballs either, so I think that would help many people it a bit more clarification was made.
#4-You really scare the (insert curse word here) out of people when you say that if they speak their mind about the guild, they get the boot. I'm doing this for other's sake when I say that I do NOT want to leave the guild because of this post.
