I tried sooo hard to like it. I think it was a mix of HARRYWTF and when they did split-screens and you saw the zoid on one side and the person on the other. It's like ... ow... very much ow... Though I have to say, I like how Buster Eagle and Fire Pheonix were granted personality. ^_^

The split screens only bug me when making AMVs...it's better than seeing just the person, because there's still Zoid to stare at!

It didn't bug you seeing the two different animations slapped together? o_O What with the obvious CG Zoid and the ... not-CG human? o_o Ah, that must just be me then. crying I'm always so different... *is such a freak, slinks away*

What I find more jarring are the bits in the earlier series where they do a bit of a Zoids themselves hand-drawn (the Panzer ep is a good example, when it braces - or the nekkid BF one, when its feet land). It looks so...odd in the middle of CGI. I'm glad Fuzors and Genesis went with all CGI Zoids for that stuff...

Ah, I'd like to know what you're speaking of, but I don't have those DVDs. crying Are there any scenes like that from Classic (so sue me) Zoids, DVD numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, or in the New Century DVDs one or two? (It's been two years since I've seen those episodes, so I can't really remember them. ^^; Sorry...)

2nd episode from New Century/Zero, "New Partner vs. Naomi Flugel and the Red Comet". (I'm not sure if that's the exact name)
