Name: Jae Sung Park Gender: Male Belt: Cho-Dan (1st degree black) # of years I've trained: about 5 years Group: International Taekwondo Federation (ITF)
I have a few questions:
Poomse are the names for forms of the WTF right?
Why do you ATA guys use a compass thing? I hear its pretty messed up stuff to watch.
How many of you have been in real fights? I have and i tell you, its definitely nothing like sparring.

How'd you skip a couple of belts? Only McDojangs allow people to get to black belt so early, no offense to your instructors

Black belt for quite awhile now... I barely go now. For the past few years I've been going off and on. Like, for a month, I'll go frequently and learn almost everthing I need to get my second degree, then, something big happens at school and I skip till I forget everything. Repeat.
It's so sad, my black belt earing class (<-- not sure what that's called xP) was the biggest class as far as I could tell and now only me and my brother even go to classes however infrequently they are... Evenone dropped out after getting their black belt. ;o; And I'm not as motivated either. I used to be so excited about Taekwondo and know it's just 'whatever'.

You really shouldn't drop out right after you get your black belt. Too many people think that once they're black belt, there's nothing more to learn even though there is.

When I was little I was already like red belt, but then I quit cause my mom and my dad were away for a while and then after two years I started again but they put me into like orange belt so it was around two years from there lol.. we get our next belt tests every two months but we get hard training everday so that's probably why...I do it every day from Monday thru Saturday so yeah....

I wouldn't suggest learning it over the computer because it's nothing like training with real people. If you really don't want to go to a real class, then get a tae bo video or something, because all you're really doing is a workout. Of course this is just my opinion...
