I'm really tempted to try a stuffed animal test...like stick a teddy near her and see if she goes, "CUTE" and drools on it... xp

I just thought of something...what if the reason she always passes out after admitting to liking Syaoran is as follows:
The emotions are inherently very mature, as in that it requires a higher mental capability than that of an infant (or what Sakura has with incomplete memories) and the mental strain is what makes her pass out, along with the magic? Does that mean a part of her will always be a kid? eek

That would be an interresting thing. First of all, she always was child-like, so her part will always take on an innocence that's just uncany. Another thing is that she goes from one extreme to another (ex.hyper to asleep). It's not normal, but your theory would satisfy a few plotholes.

Well, yes Sakura has always been childlike, but in her current state, is more childlike than normal for the Sakura we know, love, and met in CCS. But honestly, what if that was part of what made the magic work? *flail*

The magic may still work, but I agree that it would be less .......... effective than if she would have all of them. I guess that's why Fei-sama has his paws in the matter of feather retrieval. I'm sure he intends to get those feathers one way or another and would resort to kidnapping if that's what it takes.

Lahtori im not totally sure about the feathers... but it could be that because its sakura's memories. so, without the memories (feathers) it makes her be an infantile??? confused her feathers are composed of her heart, who she is, her memories. if she were to be without her memories, would she not be somewhat the same as an infant? remember, without the memories, shes got NOTHING on her--just as a baby would. so i suppose...yes? -sakura

yes, that is true. if you compare sakura to real life too, a new born has no memories, and all he/she does is sleep most of the time. which is what sakura was before she got a couple of her feathers back.
and the reason she falls asleep/faints when she says she likes syaoran, isnt that because she's not supposed to have those 'feelings' back? (memory of syaoran?)

Well, even if she's not supposed to have those feelings back, it's possible that there's more at work besides Yuko's magic that's making her pass out every time she comes closer to the truth..

well...there is.. didnt yuuko say something like "even if you collect all her feathers...your relationship with her will never be the say." ? could that be it? but if she forgot syaoran in the first place, that'd mean the relationship'll change anyways, ne? fei wang could be interrferring some more, huh.. its possible... -sakura
