Thrie watches the responses of those orbs after Griffin and he retreated from them. He watched those Orbs go into some short of "Conversation" before departing, leaving one Orb behind with a blinking red eye.

Thrie blinks in thought. Then he hears chatters over his comm unit.

"Greetings Lindy, did you enjoy your beauty sleep? And heck do i know, they provoked most of offensives. I guess they could be stuck-up machines who think they have the right to everything... bloody hell."

He scratches hs head for a moment. "Besides, since when does Blinking Red Light mean anything good? For the heck, i should do my last break dance back to the Mess Hall and marry that Kute officer girl who works at the tower. Hrmmm ya know, i never caught her name was it...... Errrrrr i said too much, did i not?"

Thrie pilots the Gaia Gear back toward to the hangar still talking "Well, whatever its doing, it cant be good. Afterall, if i was them, i'd think our actions were a little noisy and our retaliations are offensive to them. Which could be bad. We dont know what they're capable of."

Thrie drops his current assault rifle and picks up an EMP Rifle. He gets several techs to hook the power cords to some sort of power generator. With that done, he walks his mecha out to get a straight line of fire at the Orb. He kneels down and brings the Rifle up, scoping precisely on the Orb.

"In any case, get re-equiped if you need to. Always expect the worst..."

He then turns his convo toward the Tower "Tiger to Tower, requesting permission to use prototype EMP Rifle. And shouldn't we be on full Alert status?"

*Lindy hears the soft whisping noise of the salvo attack, as she turns she sees them and ducks, they zoom past her en route to attack the pulsing orb. The Missles make a direct hit on the orb, black smoke and debri along with fire scatter about as the area surrounding the enemy is engulfed in fire, Lindy who was still ducking from the falling rocks, cursed under her breath at the attack*

"Geez...hasnt the Valkyrie gone thru enough shredding since the last battle..."
*Recieving a response from Griffin and Thrie, she gets up and shakes her long pink hair from the dirt*

<<"Yeah nice to see you too Griffin...beauty sleep eh...I recommend you try being cooped up in a "jar" with liquid surrounding you and having old men stare at you nude...I think I had nightmares.">>

*The fire still burned and smoke filled the sky so it was unclear as to wheather the target was eliminated or not. Lindy chose to ignore what Thrie said afterwards and puffed out a breath of air as she leaned her weight on one leg*

<<"It is possible that its a bomb...but...its not your run-of-the-mill bomb...this one means business.">>

*She turns to look at Thrie's and Griffin's mechas, Thrie mounting some new prototype gun as he stated over the comm, Griffin using something already equipped on her mecha, raising her right arm she looks at the ray gun on her hand and sweatdrops*

<<"You know I think I need a bigger gun myself... sweatdrop ...but since I have yet to find out why am I like this, I shall have to improvise...">>

*Up to her mischevious ways already, the fire began to die down and from the rising smoke appeared the orb, slightly cracked like an egg it still pulsated now even faster, its time recycling down to its breaking point. Small electric charges began to emit from the surface and run down to the ground.*

<<"Alright guys, here is what we are going to do...since our little friend here wont leave so easily, we'll just have to show it the way out...Thrie once you get the green to fire stand by until I say so ok...Griffin you are going to assist Thrie in firing your weapon too, hopefully that thing of yours will damage it enough so that the blast is kept to a minimum...Now...">>

*Lindy walks up to an iron beam and picks it up and swings it around then eyes the orb*

<<"...lets play ball! Griffin at the last second before I hit that thing, fire your DFG at it so that it keeps it from blowing up in my face....you know short circut it, it'll leave me a small window of opportunity to smash it into the sky before it quickly repairs itself...Thrie...just blow it to pieces once it reaches a safe distance away from the base...got it? Good.">>

*Lindy swings the iron beam half way to her side then runs at the orb, she brings forward the beam to hit the orb for a homerun.*

Thrie smiles as he listened to Lindy yap about being in a "Jar" filled with liquid. Then he proceed to reply "Oh c'mon... dont be a sour pickle. Least you get to take some days off. I thought it was hectic, after that stunt you pulled."

Thrie looks over his mecha's inventory. Pretty much, the shoulder mount gatling gun, the EMP Rifle that he's not sure if it'll work yet. And the two hand held grenade launcher with only one shot.

"Well, i'll keep the channels over... when tower Buzz in, we can either change plans or commence operation PlayBall!"

*Arms Hellfires and locks on to the target with Laser targeting device**To tower*<> *To Angelfire*<> *Holds steady even though he is as nervous as all get out. Copilot is doing his best to keep the weapons on target* ((I am assuming the Control Tower is giving us clearence to fire, but if not I will edit my post accordingly sweatdrop ))

*As Lindy swung around the steel beam, Griffin's shot blazed right past her and made a direct hit with the orb, as hypothezised, it short circuted for a few seconds. In that small window of opportunity, Lindy also made contact with the orb as the steel beam smashed into the orb, sending it flying into the air. The orb stopped pulsing and instead let out a sort of screeching sound. With that done she yelled at everyone on site to fire what they had at it*

<<" Now now now!! Fire, blow that thing out of the sky before this place turns into a crater the size of the moon!">>

*She kept her eyes glued to the orb as it kept gaining altitude away from the base, all there was to do now was to hope the plan works out and spare everyone.*

*The ASDF opens fire with all available weaponry.*
