It was embarrassing, but now I find it amusing...We did Pride and Prejudice last year, and we were doing a garden-like scene on the apron. One of the guys had to haul a bench out onstage. Thank God it was just a rehersal, but he was late out of a costume change, so, feeling like helping, I hauled it out, but it was too heavy and I bumped the fireplace, and in the silence of the gym, there was a crash. A teacup had fallen. All because of me... redface I was so embarrassed, but the director said it was cheap, so whew on my part...

We're in music rehearsals for Thoroughly Modern Millie right now. There's a part in the finale where the chorus sings "I'm changin' and how I'm changin' and" without the second "how." Our director was trying to make sure we didn't sing the second how, making a big deal out of it. Last time we went through the song, he sang it with us. Right when everyone cut off, he sang the second how, and no one else did. We all burst into applause and laughter. The best part is that we video our rehearsals, so his mistake is forever preserved.

During Swamp Opera rehearsals, we were coming close to the ending one night. It was towards the middle of rehearsals but we were all already stressed out. Anyways, it was at the end of a really dramatic scene. Joe was supposed to come in and say, all hero-like, "Horace, step away from my woman!"
So yeah, Joe runs with the other three guys and he says the line with a gay lispe and all of the guys do the finger snap. It was really funny.

Sill Millie. There's a line where Millie says "I don't get it! They say the city is teaming with juice joint." Out Millie got toungue-tied and says, "I don't it! They say the titties. . .uh. . .cities?" We all cracked up.
