"That's odd," he mutters. "I figured you'd have some kind of treasure or something stashed somewhere to keep you funded. You know? Not even clothing? Geez. Yeah, look, if you ever need anything, I'll get it for you. I mean, I don't know about a house and all taht, but if you need some freaking food, I've got some stuff you can sell."

He sighs and shakes his head. "Alright, but the offer's still there if you can get off a your pride sometime... Some kind of.... homeless...." He looks distractedly around for his bottle. "Mmmmm.... What ever happened to that idea of getting a job? You're kinduva wierd human, LP. You know, what ever happened to all that human stuff? Don't you want to be a housewife, LP?" He chuckles.

Nar can't stand the insolent, incredulous look on her face, and after a very long 'PPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFT!' he starts cackling like mad, whacking at the couch with his fist. "AH HA HA hA HA!!! I---I--I!! I AH HA! I didn't! No, LP. Hoo hoo hoo hoo hooooooooo! It was a JOKE! A joke! Don't you get it!!!" His words dissolve back into another fit of drunken laughing and he rolls back and forth, clutching at his chest and stomach. "OOOooooooooo...... Oh, so funny.... I was just joking. I knew you wouldn't....." He finally finds the strength to take the bottle, but instead of taking a drink, just sets it back down on the floor.

"Umph... what would I do? Be human again?" He muses over it, his brows furrowed seriously. "Well.... No. I don't think I can. Not yet. I can't just leave this life. I promised someone that I'd find a way to save myself. I couldn't do this all over again.. I need to balance things before I move on. I wouldn't have enough time as a..... " He pauses, staring intensely at nothing imparticular. "Wait.... wait.... I guess I would. Well, I know someone who might not like it so much. She said she preferred me as I am."

"Oh, don't do that," Nar mutters sleepily. "You'll make me yawn. Is it getting light out? I can hardly even tell. Wow. I must be soooooo drunk. Now... what is it you're saying about humans? You know, I really don't know what I'd look like if I were a human being. I mean, if I changed back. I didn't always look like this. The silver hair and red eyes are the mark of my particular vampiric heritage. I'd look...... different. Maybe really different. Wouldn't that be wierd?" He wrinkles up his nose and bares his teeth.

"I can't feel it," he mutters in response to her observation. "Usually I can. And I don't know if I'd be the same at all. I don't know.... what would happen. Maybe I would change. Maybe all the things that humans have to do would make me change. I don't know..... And surely we've talked without fighting before? Well, I can't fight. Not right now. I just can't. I don't know if I could, even if you started to... insult me or something. Anyway... I'm drunk."

"Oh, bah. You want to keep me miserable so I'll drink and not get angry with you, is that it? Why, that's really not very fair of you. I don't care if you sleep here. We haven't been having a lot of those people lately... the.. the sleeping people." He rubs at his sore eyes, grimacing. "Who? Do you mean.. that cat thing? Isn't he in the corner?"

Nar gives a stupid shrug. He hadn't seen him leave, but then, he really can't see much of anything at all at this point, except for very vague blurs. He peers at the general location he saw LP last. "You can ask. I don't know what I'd say. Someone's in trouble and I tried to do something, but I can't. I just feel really worthless. But more than that, I feel so sorry for this poor girl. I really don't know how long she'll last. I'd hate to see her turn into a monster to cope with her situation, and I'd hate just as much for her just to... go out like a candle flame. But I really don't see how it would turn out any differently. I wish I could help her to be stronger, but I can't. I really can't." He claps his hands over his eyes, looking to be on the verge of weeping.
