Tsukasa Elric I'm aware that meat flavoured crisps do not contain meat, I just find it weird that they'd want to eat somethnig that is supposed to (but very rarely does) taste like the meat. It just puzzles me. and what' swrong with wanting chips and chips? ninja Well mike today had a cauliflower cheese burger, amid much joking about frying up left over sunday roast. So something that resembles or tastes like meat is good for people who want to feel superior but not get the piss taken. Actualy we're more likely to be sarky, but they don't know that. domokun

Seeing as tis topic keep coming up, I think about it a lot, and reasons as to why it should not be banned.
Does any one know what badger baiting or otter hunting?
These were two "sports" a little like fox hunting, although many badgers and otters would be killed, they countryside and shores of rivers were teeming with them. Both were banned though, and because of this, farmers and fishermen proclaimed that otters and badgers were vermin and damaged crops. They then went out to shoot all the otters and badgers, only now are the populations recovering. If fox hunting were banned, foxes would also be shot and wiped out as vermin. Currently we have many of foxes in both towns and countryside, hunting is not threatening their numbers. 10 times more foxes are killed by cars than the hunt.
Fishing, a sport held by the middle class instead of the upper class. The idea of fishing is a blood sport, you hunt the fish, traumatise them in an impossible fight, remove hooks from their mouths and put them back, to be hunter again.
If fox hunting was banned, so would coarse fishing be, as it is identical in its treatment of animals. The only reason it is not being, is that the people against fox hunting are middle class, city dwelling and labour voting people. All of whom share the "fluffy" image of foxes, so slimy fish are ok to kill.
Last note for this post, I retain my faith in Prince Charles, who is continuing to support the hunts. Oh, how I hope he is crowned king one day, his grotty sons shouldn't see the shine of gold.

*raises hand I read it, are you a royalist? You just didn't strike me as the type, bit hypocritical since people say exactly the same about me. Charles will ascend to the throne unless he dies, but that won't stop William following him, personally I would prefer Harry who seems relatively normal, but there are rules for these things. Badger baiting never ceases to make me chuckle. Not the sport, just the title. If found an up to date Pro-Hunt site: Die Fox Die!Still can't find out when it's due in the Lord's, though there is mentions of Labour threatening to force the bill via the 'Parliament Act' scream That bit pisses me off as much as the bill itself.

I'm not strictly a royalist, but I believe that monarchy is far better than the s**t pile we have going on now. At least it worked, and wars were cooler back then, no ******** about over oil and s**t.
Charles might not actually get a shot, at the rate his mother is going he'll be too old to accept and have to hand it on to his son neutral Fingers crossed he gets a turn, he'd make a great king.
Though I say I'm not a royalist, it is the single most resounding factor of being English, I back the throne surprised

Deal. With. It.
It is my belief. I'm not telling you to be anti-hunting. I am merely of the opinion that hunting foxes with hounds is wrong.
Thank you and good night.
