Theallpowerfull I.Am ...go through that kind of heartbreak over and over in the hopes of "maybe." That's dating in a nutshell. the concept of dating kinda sucks, i think... i mean, people are almost expected to have sex when they date nowadays, and if they don't, some people don't even see it as a relationship. my father included. i told him i was abstinant and he asked if i was gay gonk stressed doesn't anyone want to love from the heart anymore? crying

Between the effeminate look and that fact that he's not into porn AT ALL, I guess he can give off the vibe that he's either gay or asexual. He may not have much of a sex drive...but he still likes women. I'm kinda amused at how shortly after we started dating his dad gave him about about sex. He said something along the lines of "The isn't to be taken as permission but you're in college now and you're gonna be making your own choices so.....just in case." And as far as I know he just put it away and never read it. Works for me. I don't have to worry about that. In my house, abstinence is pretty much the norm in spite of also being the law. No one feels that locked in a cage because of it. It's just something we do without giving that much thouhght to it. And the relationships are kinda judged based on the amount of time your SO spends with the family over the degree of physical intimacy you spend alone. Since we're so family-oriented...any potential spuse is eventually going to be accepted as one of the family so...start the process ASAP and scare 'em off early if they can't handle it. wink

divineseraph ha, my dad tried the same thing. the basic conversation- Dad-"son, when you grow up, you're going to dfind that your body changes, and, well, it can be a bit confus-" me- "nope" Dad- "but... there are going to be changes and, i'm not sure-" me- "i've got it" Dad- "there are things about sex even I don't understand" me- "ok" Dad- "...well, if you have any questions, you can ask me, here are some books about it, with sexual positions and stuff" me-"alright." *puts books on dresser, notices they're gone a few months later, finds them in little brother's dresser* Psh... My parents never really gave me "the talk." Like, we had various books lying around, one of which described how sex works using robots (don't ask) but nowadays we're pretty free about talking about that sort of topic. xd Just today I was talking about pierced penises with my mom. Long story short, we both think people with pierced penises are weird. sweatdrop

My dad, before I went to college, used to always threaten to yell "p***s!" in random places. Now whenever anything sexual comes up, I'm always sure to yell things first. xd
Generally at home, though. sweatdrop

I do that, my dad some itmes laughs. My dad once bought one of those salami sticks at Food Lion and I walked around the entire store holding it between my legs and acting liek it was nothing. We were about half way out of the store when My dad looked back to ask if we forgot anything. I scratched at my crotch wiht it between my legs and looke dat him "Huh? Oh, no." We both had a huge laugh on the way home

Pyrotechnic Oracle I'm a christisan, yet I disagree with alot of the old laws As i recall, so did Jesus, so you're probably safe depending on which old laws you're talking about.

Tricky question; when dating you generally find out things about people. So you may or may not find out what someones stance is on abortion till you're already dating? razz
Needless to say, once I found out I most likely would drop it. I couldn't date someone that can take a life without remorse.
