 "he was one of the founders, Wayne has more pull in Gotham than Renard does" he shrugged, "If you want something done that is a big but well ment Wayne is usually the one to front it" He smilled, "I guess I know so much about the Renard and Renard Aeronautics because I am a space nut, on my tenth birthday my parents got me a telescope and I fell into it I guess. They used to work for Swan but they worked with alot of famous scientists....execpt for Luthors, I haven't seen them work with Luthorcorp."

"wait Swann?..." The name struck some kind of familiar ring in her head. She remembered the name some how... It was the name of the billionaire scientist.... who told Clark abouthis Kryptonian Heritage. "Wait so... by Swann are you speaking of the Astronomer and Scientist... Dr. Virgil Swann who died two years ago?" Chloe looked up at Jimmy, now with great interest... "Lionel Luthor had a meeting with dr. Swann... he had information about Clark, he went looking for him... Now that Swann is dead and Bridgette Crosby is dead... the only remaing connection and possible holder of information on kryptons origins lies with the Renard family... who owns the institute... well that explains the funding of the research Facility... Lex must be attempting to get closer to the Renards for information... Lionel obviously can't be behind it... I have to warn Clark..." Chloe said quiet enough so only she could hear herself.

"none other than", Jimmy replied, "they helped launch a few arrays for Swann's research". He looked at Chloe and she looked deep in thaught, "something up? you look like something is wrong" then he thaught a minute himself, "how do you know of Virgil Swann? You didn't seem to be much into the sciences, at least not to me anyway"

"Nothings up" Chloe said suspiciously fast coming out of her verbal trance of connection making. "The only thing that is wrong is this is the weakest coffee i have ever tasted... would you mind making it a little bit stronger? i don't mean to be a bust but I'm not sure how much longer I am going to be working on this for..." Chloe handed the almost empty cup to Jimmy... "erm....thank you!"
Chloe watched Jimmy walk into the break room. Once she thought he was a safe distance away. She dialed her phone to call Clark. But she only recieved his voice mail. "Clark! when you get this call me back ASAP i think i might have found out why the Luthors are funding the research facility in Gotham... Lets just say Lex made the awful good connection to remaing scientist from Dr. Virgil Swann's observatory." Chloe quickly ended the call and put away her phone by the time Jimmy was comming back with her cup. "Thanks Jimmy" She tasted the coffee, it wasn't up to Talon standards but it would do. "Your a life saver..."

"It's just coffee Chloe, not the elixer of life" Jimmy paused a moment, "then again I guess it could be considered that to you" he looked at the screen, "what I don't understand though is why is Renard part of an institute for the blind....that's what has me wondering, or it could be my imagination, I mean there are alot of philanthropists that we don't know about right?" he looked at Chloe, "I mean not everyone is out for fame glory and fortune"

"Coffee to you Jimmy, may just be a hot beverage. But In my life, Coffee ranks right up their with breathing and eating. You have a point there though. Seeing as i have practacally no knowledge on the Renard family, other then what you have told me. The only reason why i could think of is, a family member possibly?" Chloe looked up at jimmy for a seond in thought... "I mean there has to be a reason, pictures don't just decide to be taken, some one has to press the button." Chloe turned back to her computer trying to think of where to start looking. "jimmy you wouldn;t happen to know if the Renards have any family do you?"

Olson shook his head gently, "I can't say I do sorry" he shrugged, "I know he had an older brother but they only mention him in passing, the only one that holds his family life as closely guarded is Bruce Wayne and you found out about his parents, so I don't doubt you will find the connection."

Chloe paused... "I think i know how we may be able to figure out if the Renards have some DNA running around..." Chloe got to work typing. within minutes she was in the Gotham Government Files... "If they had any kids the government would have record of the birth certificate." Chloe did some more typing and came up with the Renard government files, something highly highly illegal, but nothing Chloe had never done before. Chloe scrolled down and saw the link containing a copy of mr and mrs. Renards birth cirtificate and another. "Bingo" Chloe said right before she clicked the link. she waited a second then Clicked on it again. "Thats weird... the link that is soppose to show me the birth critificate of this person... isn't working... the Renards must be sheilding someone and its obviously their own flesh and blood..." Chloe sat back in her chair and exited the site. "hmmm... any ideas?" she asked looking up at Jimmy.

"maybe they have a reason" Jimmy shrugged, "protecting him or her, alot of influential people hide their children, I mean look at celebrities, the smart one hide their kids until they are old enough to drive" "still I wonder what the great secret is, I mean it can't be that horrible" he thaught for a moment, "wait ok I know its y'know illegal what we are doing but can you get into the local hospital mainframes? they usually have files backed-up in the database...I mean unless they had a homebirth wich is not likely they would have a record of their child there"

"Let me see what i can do" Chloe focused her attention back on the computer and started hacking away at the keys. In about a half an hour she was into the Gotham General HOspital mainframe. "Here we go." Chloe scrolled down the list of various names until she reached the "R" section. "there have to be about 20 Renards who were born in this hospital! hm... well we better start looking for the one belonging to Malcom and his Mistriss..." Chloe heard her phone ring and looked at the caller id, it was Clark calling her back. "eh..hey Jimmy, do you mind taking over the controls for a bit? i really need to take this" Chloe said and she slipped out of her chair and into the copy room, double checking to make sure that Jimmy was occupied at the desk.
"Clark?!?"

"Thought i would" she said smirking to herself. "Apparently, it isn't Bruce Wayne who owns this institute, its Malcom Renard. Malcom Renard and his Wife were in Cohorts with the late Dr. Virgil Swann. They worked in his lab. since neither Bridgette Crosby or Swann are alive, the kryptonian study was left alone. Right now the only people carrying the weight of your secrets besides your mother and I are funding this institution. This is, which we figure is the reason as to why the Luthors are funding this research facility in. The way i figure, the Closer Lex gets to the renards the harder he is going to pressure them about the famous yet mysterious investigation that Swann was holding in his labs... Right now though, Jimmy and I are looking for an explanation as to why the Renards have founded this institute for the blind when neither of them have this disablility and why it is played up that it seems as if Bruce Wayne owns it."

"Probably not the best idea speedy. I think Jimmy already finds it suspicious that you are here almost twice a-day. He already asked me earlier this week how a farm boy from Smallville can afford such trips with these high gas prices. Best you sit this one out." Chloe said sounding concerned
