Thorn snickered. He watched, amused as he stood there, making no move to go for the phone. But he did smirk, and it was with his smirk that drawled his next words.
"I never knew you would be so vocal, during the act." he said, slowly, letting the words drip out with just a touch of mockery. "I love you? Even for you, it was quite sentimental."
He was laughing at the man, really. Because while he knew the mage must remember what had happened last night, nothing pleased Thorn more than to rub it in. To make him feel more...
wanting.
"It was very touching."

Hadrian recoiled at those words, accompanying a flinch at the mention of last night.
"I hate you."
Hissed out, teeth clenched and glaring at Thorn as if he could burn him alive with simply his gaze.
He was so confused about last night. The mage couldn't understand why he had said those things - why he had so easily fallen into Marc's bed with the man. And there was also the strange realization that the entire time, he had been thinking of Marc.
Maybe that was why he had said that? So caught up in the moment that he just - forgot - it was Thorn?
Excuses, really.
Except that it had made it easier for those words to slip out, since he was thinking of Marc. Thorn likely hadn't planned that mentioning the man would have the effect of Hadrian reacting during sex as if he was Marc; nor had he likely planned how easily Hadrian would respond, like that.
"I hate you."
Repeated, just for good measure, though this one held less venom. This time, it sounded more frustrated...almost defeated.
Almost. But not quite.

Thorn smirked. He smirked. "It hurts." he said, and while the words carried some pain, the amusement on his face, the delight that he was the recipient of such strong feelings... well. Thorn knew he had been working on a good hunch on choosing this one. "I'm sure Marc will be delighted."
The words, were droll. He liked the mage, liked causing him pain and knew there was only so far he could go for now. But he couldn't help it. He couldn't help the fact that he kept pushing, just a little bit more at a time.
So he stood there, sipping his new cup of coffee and with a look of ironic amusement on his face, considered loudly.
"What would have happened, if I'd seen you first?" it was one of those what if things. Would he have been kinder, nicer, more patient?
Probably not. But maybe Hadrian wouldn't have hated him too much either.
Hate could be so boring when you needed to practice self restraint.
"You'll remember me, you know." he said, quietly. "Your body. You won't be able to react the same way to anyone else."

If Thorn had seen him first...?
Hadrian didn't even want to think about that. About how it would have been to be in an actual relationship with such an infuriating man - with a man he hated so much. But at the same time...
Marc wouldn't have gotten hurt.
But then, those next words -
"I would rather be monk, then be with you again."
Those words of Thorns frightened him. Because the last thing he wanted to do was sleep with Thorn again - even if those same pleasurable sensations, so strong and fierce, never happened again. But it scared him to think that it he was ever with someone else, it wouldn't seem as wonderful as it would have before.
Inwardly, he ordered himself to stop thinking about it. Thorn was lieing, of course - why would he react to Thorn only that way, after just one night of sex? Even if it had been like nothing he'd ever experienced. It had felt like everything was simply - enhanced. Pleasure and pain, taste...he couldn't explain it.
Hadrian turned his back on Thorn, seeking to regain his composure.
Why hadn't he left yet...?

"A monk?" Thorn's words took a dangerous dip as his lips hovered over the steam rising from the mug. "A eunuch, perhaps?" He words sounded considering, as if offering options.
But his tone.
There was a slight thread behind those words, a slight emphasis that maybe, if Hadrian pushed him enough, it would come down to that. If Hadrian fought back hard enough that pleasure turned to irritation, it would lead to that. What Thorn couldn't have, no one else could.
"It is an option." he added, cementing the idea further.
And then the man changed the topic. "Do you know what know how Marc is? What he's been up to?" he dangled it as bait, not for attention, but for words. For emotions. For some kind of reaction.
Because this was always a topic that seemed to lead to something.

Eunuch?
That startled Hadrian enough to draw his gaze back to Thorn, a gaze that held astonishment. He really hadn't liked the way the other man sounded, just then...it made him nervous.
Well.
More nervous then usual.
"I'm sure he's doing fine."
Stiffly spoken, but his eyes had gone from wide to narrow, and his entire body had tensed up. Why was it that even the slightest hint of the man made him feel pain?
"Look, just leave. I'm not in the mood to deal with you today."
Was he ever?
But this could very easily degenerate into something like what had happened at the lab earlier in the week, violence and anger. Because Hadrian had so many things he was in turmoil about, so much confusion and anger - and there was the source of it all, the cause.
Except maybe this time he'd be smart enough to kick rather then punch. Or be even more intelligent and just use magic.
((>.> I wouldn't mind it degenerating into something like that ninja ))

(( Ale is sadistic!
... well, so am I))
Thorn watched, amused. But cooler, as if it actually took self restraint to control some part of himself. If it was at his house, if it wasn't that the mage had so many... protectors, the result of the night might have been different. Because Thorn wanted the mage broken. And begging.
"Is that any way to speak to someone you've thoroughly ******** words, were not quite as gentle as he could have said them. But the words themselves held none of the gentle nature, so it was quite a contradiction. Still, Thorn stood there. He didn't move, but his eyes did. They settled on a low point on the mage's body, knowing every inch of flesh that was hidden from his eyes.
"I'm not ready to." he said, his moving back and holding Hadrian's. And neither was he going to. Thorn didn't think Hadrian woudl trust him enough to leave him alone in his own apartment.

Hadrian flushed, at both Thorn's words and the way the other man scanned him - he didn't even need to say undressing with his eyes. Because the other man already knew what was there. And honestly, that bothered him far more then just the expression.
Shifting uncomfortably, he still met the other mans gaze. Challenging, angry.
Afraid?
Well, he wouldn't be admitting to that.
His hands clenched, the relaxed...almost as if they were preparing for something. And one who didn't know how his magic worked might not recognize that it was an unconcious preparation.
"You will."
Hard words, that carried a warning. And this was the only warning Thorn was going to get, because he had learned last time that if he waited, Thorn would steal away any of his chances at getting rid of the man.
So, if he had to throw him out wearing nothing but too-small pants - he would do so.

Thorn laughed. He put his cup down and opened his arms, inviting. Confident, arrogant, and maybe a touch amused. He was bored, a little bit. And curious too. How would the mage manage this? Strength, or magic? He was hoping he could deflect the first, and the second?
Well. Maybe he could go to Ahneta in his too tight pants and ask to be treated.
"Will I?"
He meant the question, this time. Honesty, he was asking. "You can get rid of me, mage. But I'm not ready to leave."
His smile said his words.
Get rid of him, and he'd come back. Tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon. Sooner or later he would be back, reminding the mage of the actions they had shared in bed.
"Maybe you're not just dominant in the bedroom, then?" he said, laughing.

Glaring almost viciously at Thorn after that final comment, Hadrian was fed up. He didn't want to deal with the man, not after last night. Not right now.
Or ever, for that matter, but the fates didn't like him too much in that regard.
"If you come back...then I'll just make you leave again."
He had no intention of letting the man stick around again - he'd chase him away with whatever methods he had to. And his magic surely would work as a detterent.
Of course...his confidence was always so easily shaken by Thorn - all it would take for him to grow unsure of his ability to get rid of the other man, and thus stall any attempts, would be for this to not work.
And as he began shifting his hands in a few quick motions that would seem meaningless to the untrained eye, he worked his magic. It wouldn't be as effective as he hoped - Hadrian was no war mage.
Within each school of magic, there were many other seperate branches...but he had always done poorly in the more violent and warlike magical arts. His talents lay more in other area's. So while he could use them, they could be fought against - even by those without magic.
If they knew how, anyway. And he felt confident that Thorn wouldn't know how.
((Those motions are pretty obvious - and could be interrupted, even. It's your call whether Thorn interrupted them or not xD
But if he doesn't - the spell is similar to what caught Gavin and Haki and kept them floating in air, except it works sideways. Basically, it'll push him against the wall. Not make him completely unable to move, but keep him from leaving that spot))

Thorn blinked, surprised by the action as whatever it was slammed him up against the wall. Some of his confidence was shaken, but still-- he had so much of it, would it really make a difference?
"Hadrian." he purred, the word dripping sex. "I didn't know you wanted it to be so violent." his eyes glittered in response. Violence? Yes, violence the man could handle. This much of it, he could handle.
His pants were too tight and being against a wall too forceful.
But he liked it, in his own way.
"And then I'll come back again." he grinned, a fierce grin as he didn't attempt to struggle. What was the point?

"You're lucky I didn't just knock you through the window."
Hadrian's eyes glittered angrily as he said this, but it really wasn't true. For one, then he'd have to explain how his window had broken in the first place - and saying he'd used magic to throw a shirtless man from it wouldn't go over to well. Then having to explain said shirtless man...
And thirdly - as angry as he may get, he wasn't a naturally violent person. He would simply shy away from doing anything that could cause a great dealof violence.
"You come back again, and I'll just make you leave. I'm not letting you get back near me again. I don't know what the hell it is that you do to make me - "
He broke off there, realizing that was a bad tangent to go down. Saying that he didn't know how Thorn made him feel as strange as he had last night...that would merely give the other man ammo to use against him.
And with another twist of his hands, Thorn was sliding along the wall towards the door. Hadrian wasn't exactly being gentle, so it was a good thing there wasn't anything valuble on those walls - though there was at least one thing knocked off.

Thorn laughed. "Send me out the window then." he taunted. Suicidal? Hmm. Maybe. "And if they ask what I'm doing? I'll tell them the truth." Actually, that sounded like a delightful prospect.
Thorn didn't want to fight. He didn't want to struggle against the binds that held him, because he was curious. What else could the mage do? What else did the mage have the guts to do?
As he slid across the wall, he didn't flinch when he knocked things off. It would be the man who would have to clean it all up, and it didn't hurt. He was used to more pain then this.
"It's just going to be a cycle, Hadrian." he taunted, eyes glittering. "Again, and again and again."
And then he remembred what he had said. What Hadrian had said. "I affect you because you want me." he smirked. "You want me in your bones, and you know it."

Don't listen.
Thorn lies, all he ever says is lies...
And there he was lieing to himself, really. But he was doing his best to deny it all, to deny that it would be a cycle. Because all cycles had to be broken eventually.
"I don't want you!"
Those words exploded out of him after Thorn's, and Hadrian inwardly cursed himself for the loss of self control. He hated it, how he lost all of it around Thorn - became so emotional, so easily angered or upset...
The mage stepped forward and opened the door, then stepped back as he slid Thorn towards it.
And then - well, it was rather the equivalent of throwing someone. Or in this case, an invisible presence shoving the other man through the open doorway, before the magic released him; the most likely result would be being sent sprawling.
Then Hadrian steped back forward, to shut the door, directing an angry glare as he did so,
"Stay away from me."
Then, he began to shut it.

Thorn laughed. "You do." he taunted. "You said it yourself. You want me." the words were cut off when he went sprawling, legs open and arms back to catch himself against the floor. It was ungainly, and while part of him wondered what people would say, another relished the challenge.
When the mage went to close the door, he let him. He watched as it shut, and then getting up, said loudly- loud enough.
"I'll be back, Hadrian."
On another man it might have sounded like a quip from a bad action movie. But his words were filled with promise, and plans as he knocked once on the door. Not to be let it- oh, no. But to let the mage know that he would always be there.
"I'll be back."
