"Oh..." Ina cooed, looking around at the huge closet in childlike wonder. The closet was lined with all sorts of clothes, from jeans to skirts and even coats. A small collection of shoes were organized on a rack on the floor. Not far away there were boxes in stacks no higher then two. One purple ear twitched to the side curiously as she resisted the urge to go inspect her mommy's clothes instead of looking for the softies.
"Softies in....boxes...?" She suggested, glancing at Gavin with thoughtful golden eyes.

Gavin took a moment to stare at everything. Whenever he walked into his Mommy's closet, it was usually filled with various pants and shirts. From this first glance it seemed like Ina's mommy had everything. This closet could take a day to explore in and of itself.
When Ina pointed out the boxes, Gavin paused to ponder for a moment. He kept special things in boxes, and softies were definitely special things. Of course they'd be in boxes.
"Let's look!" he toddled over to the boxes gleefully. He attempted to pull the first box off the top, looking over to Ina for help.

Ina didn't keep anything in boxes. It was too much of a hassal to get them out again that way! Mommy didn't seem to understand, for she always ended up stuffing her toys and stuff back into bins around her room or the rec. room. It seemed very likely mommy would put sofies in there...she put everything in there! Well, as far as Ina knew.
With a perk of her ears and wide grin she hurried forward to help him. She loved to get in on the action, no matter how silly the task was. She grabbed the other edge of the box and tugged. With the two of them it slide off onto the floor with a THUD! Ina's ears twitched and quivered, but otherwise she seemed to ignore the fall and stood ready to explore the box's contents.

Gavin flinched when the box fell before them. Softied definitely weren't that heavy. If they were, he'd hardly be able to walk with all the feathers on his wings. Or maybe Ina's mommy collected lots and lots of softies. Considering the weight of the box, he wondered how Gawain still had any softies left.
Gavin stared at the box for a few seconds.
"Sure softies in hevy box?"

"Hu?" She chirped, blinking her large golden eyes. Softies in heavy box...? Hm...she supposed she hadn't thought of it that way. She frowned a little, her fuzzy tail swishing to the side as she thought. "I 'pose not," she agreed reluctantly as she wrinkled her nose. She quickly turned her attention to the box that had been under it. Maybe that one...?
"Twy odder one," she suggested as she moved over to yank at the cardboard flaps resting on the top. It stuck for a minute because of some brown sticky stuff...tape?...and then it finally was pulled free. A few gray and white softies flew out of the box and drifted down. The air also filled with dust. Ina pulled her ears back slightly as her nose itched and she sneezed, falling back on her bum.

Gavin watched as Ina struggled with the box underneath. When the contents exploded into the air, he jumped up.
"Softies!" he squealed reaching up to grab some, but they kept escaping his fingers. Every time he tried to close his hand, the motion would cause the floating feathers to flutter further away. Giving up after a couple moments--also figuring he could just pick them up when they hit the ground--he looked back at Ina.
"Ina okay?" That sneeze looked painful.

Ina shook her head to clear it, her ears flopping about slightly. Then she looked up, blinking, and rubbed the back of her hand against her nose. "Yeah...I fine," to assured him with a nod before wobbling back to her feet. She watched as some softies settled on the ground and then glanced at the box. It was completely full of piles and piles of white and gray softies!
"WOW!" She exclaimed in excitement and moving swiftly to lean over the edge of the box and peer inside. Her tail wagged softly this way and that, showing her obvious pleasure. "Lots and lots of sofies~!"

Seeing that Ina was okay, Gavin returned his attention to the softies. So many! This was definitely more than enough. He had that certain feeling of completeness again as he bent down to pick one up. Stuffing it into his pocket, he felt that maybe--just maybe--the stupid unexplainable feelings would make sense. Well, once he got home anyways.
"I get softies for Haki?" he asked, grabbing another few softies before he got an answer. Haki liked softies alot. Especially his. Maybe she'd like Gawain's too. An idea surfaced in his mind when he picked up a particularly large softy. Holding on to the hard end, he used the soft end to poke Ina, attempting to create a tickle war.

Give Haki softies...? Why would Haki want Gawain softies? "I pose ok..." she mumbled while peering at the box's contents. Suddenly a shiver ran up her spine as she felt a funny sensation her her arm. With a yelped she jumped back in surprise, barely able to surpress a smile that had molded onto her face from being tickled. Her ears twitched for a moment as she thought of how to tickle him back...then she realized she had a weapon of her own, and it was far bigger and floofier!
Taking her tail in one hand she ran(toddled quickly!) to him and began to wave it around like a brush. "Tickle tickle!" She laughed, brushing her tail fur over whatever she could get at.

Gavin didn't expect such a powerful counterweapon. A feather had that like tickling quality, but tails were just made of awesome when it came to tickle wars. Ina's tail had hit a very vulnerable target: his stomach. He began to giggle uncontrollably before falling backwards onto his rump. His stomach hurt from laughing, and his butt hurt from falling. But he was laughing nonetheless.
"Tickle!" he paused to breath long enough to try and target Ina's own tummy. Maybe she was ticklish like he was there.

Yes, Ina knew her tail was probably the most awsome thing ever. She'd never trade it for anything...what wasn't cool about a tail? But because she was holding it she was a little off balance. So while tickling him was extremely good fun she was wobbly. And when he attacked her back, a weak but successful effort, she shrieked with giggles and fell over. Yes, tickling could cripple anyone and that's what made it so fun.

After a while Gavin realized that breathing was, in fact, a necessary part of survival. He stopped giggling and poking Ina with a feather long to pant heavily, completely exhausted. His tiny chest heaved as he leaned back on his hands to catch the rest of his breath. Stupid breathing. It always got in the way of fun.
"What...do...now?" he said in between breaths. They'd met Gawain, found the softies, and conducted a very successful tickle war. His mind was jumping from one activity to the next, and therefore was ready for the next adventure. Provided he didn't pass out first...

Ina rolled over onto her belly, breathing a little heavily too. Tickling and falling took a lot out of you! Her ears dropped forward slightly as she peeked at him tiredly. But she was far from willing to stop their fun and games here. Nooo, there was far too much to do! "Go 'venture?" she panted hopefully. They could explore the jungle that was her yard or perhaps battle the evil bad guy that was Luca down stairs. Or...well there were just too many things. She wondered what kind of adventure he'd want to do. She was up for all of them!

"Yes 'venture!" Gavin said emphatically, attempting to push himself to his feet. He failed one and a half times, but finally managed to stand on two legs. This whole walking business sure was a lot harder when the world was spinning in front of your eyes due to hyperventilation.
"Venture where?" he asked. This house was big enough that Ina probably had grand adventures every day. Lucky. He always had to go searching outside his home for fun stuff to do. Of course Mommy didn't have a clue, but she didn't have to know that he constantly climbed out his bedroom window.

Ina gave him a thoughtful look, not yet getting up off the floor. The floor was soft! Ok, yeah, anyway, she decided she'd ask him directly. Let him choose the adventure! "Whut kind 'venture want?" she cocked her head to one side, "'plore? Fight bad gwuy? Fwind monstwer?" Yes, there were probably more, but they could go from there! It was awsome to have someone to adventure with! Gawain never wanted to...and Mommy got tired of it sometimes...and Luca was the badguy so that didn't work!
