Well.. it's been an interesting past few months. My Pokemon and I have had some rough times, but in the end it made us even stronger. There is however a new addition to our small family.. we call him Louis.
He is a bit slow at times, but overall a caring person in the end. He tricks the other Pokemon a lot, also simply toying with their minds. It's all in good fun.. I assure you. I think ... Anyways, he is a Turtwig that we came across while traveling to the Mart. It attacked me openly! ... nibbling... at.. my pants pocket. It stole my peanut butter wafers that day. Was a sad loss .... it wasn't until a week later that we caught up with it again as it was headfirst in my bag. Thanks to the complete confusion efforts of my Pokemon the thief was caught. Joy. Now it can steal my food just as all my other Pokemon do. As I write this .. I am glaring at Charmer, Blarney, Louis, and Driz. I assume they are up to no good.. despite 2 of them actually being asleep.

August 9th, 2007.
Well, either this is a complete success or a failure! Charmer and Isabella have finally evolved. I say "finally" mainly because I was never expecting them to actally do so. I mean.. look at them. They are eating all my cookies as I write this! I guess it will take some time to get used to, both are far larger than they once were. Handling them outside their pokeball might get a bit messy. I've noticed that Charmer is taking more effort to train as well. Either he is gotten snobbier since evolving, or I need some more practice being his trainer. Rumors always did say that the Charmander family gets harder to tame as they grow , perhaps it's not just a rumor?

Yes. It is coming closer. I get to not just take Charmer out for free candy, I have a small horde that will be demanding treats... or.. tricks. I have a bad feeling about when that time comes, but it should be fun either way.
Leon seems to be doing alright. The two of us have really lost contact with each other, but I randomly get some mail tarnished with cookie crumbs. How odd...
Either way.. we have taken separate paths. Perhaps one day we will meet up. A journey is something I laugh about.. I have enough of one just being home. It would not hurt to have an adventure one day..
Training is going fine.. I.. guess. Between slacking off, we have managed to create a semi-usable battle strategy. Yeea... this may not go well.

Am I still alive? ... Lord knows anymore.
Well, seems like a new year has already started. Where has all the time gone....
Got some new ... unique members to my little crazed party. A Chingling hovered its way over here. Charmer found it, and let's say he just refused to leave her be when the little bell decided to taunt him.
A curious little Chimchar made it's way to Louis as well. Least.. he has someone else unique to play with. Even if it means more tricks to watch out for.
I guess... it's going to be a Happy New Year. Can't ask for much else.
Well... except a better place to hide the poke treats, but still.

May 1st, 2008.
Ok, while I will never admit to losing this journal under a ton of dust, I will at least mention a few things that have happened recently.
A bug catching contest was held in a nearby park. Lots of old, and new faces showed up to partake in the event. Cheza took to my side, helping me gain sight of a few stray bugs. In the end.. I caught a little Caterpie.
When the event was over I was allowed to keep it. Finding out it was a she, I named her Sari. The thing that was rather shocking about her was the points she gave. Despite being small, she racked in nine points. That gave me... second place!
Second place turned out to be a rather stubborn little Tangela. Well.. she seems to fit in with my little misfit group, so Jenni came to be her name.
So I have two new friends. Two more Pokemon to watch me frantically flail as a trainer. I may not be the most observant, but I try. I plan to take a small trip soon. That event made me realize how much good just simply being out in clean air can be.

March 16th, 2009.
It surely hasn't been almost a year, ... right?
This is Grace. It's been a long while I suppose. Things have been going fine. I used to write in this journal often. I suppose it was because I was excited for an adventure. I was excited to bond with my Pokemon and to make a name for myself. I guess .. I stopped writing when I realized I wasn't quite doing that. I was making a good team, and a good friendship with my pals. I wasn't on much of an adventure, and I surely wasn't well known to anyone. For some reason I stopped writing because of that. If I needed to remember my good friends I would just pull up a memory from my mind. I did not need a journal. What help would a journal be for my life?
Things have changed. Younger trainers are coming out. Many I feel are a much better trainer than I. I'm 20 years old, and a 15 year old has a better training session that I do. They can outrun me, out battle my Pokemon and I, and surely make a name for themselves.
Come to think of it.. I was like them once. Wasn't I? When I got Charmer.. my whole life had changed. I might not have been made famous to people, but I was famous in his eyes.
Who says the people a little younger than me should have all the fun? I say we take it back from them! From this day on I'm doubling my training. No money, so what! Items might make an edge in battle, but so does a bond with ones Pokemon. We'll beat them, you'll see. All that time I thought I never had adventure I dreamed of.. I was actually having it. Between meeting new partners, having fun, and generally living a happy life.. I was having the best adventure one could have.
That being said, hello Journal. You're old, dusty, and fairly unused. Let's change that.

March 18th, 2009.
Apparently the enthusiasm to get back on track was not only apparent in me. Not long after my pals and I attempted to get back into a good training state of mind, Isabella and Cheza decided it was fine time for themselves to evolve. Both girls seem pretty happy. It's almost like they are gloating to the other Pokemon though.. I've seen Isabelle float above the boys in particular, waving her little pom poms. Cheza just makes more music, normally when anyone is trying to concentrate. Apart from the two of them causing the others to want to smack them, everyone seems to be doing fine. Everyone is still stealing my food, and willing to go along with my sudden wantings of going back out into the world.
Between the chaos of it all, I cashed in some old tickets I had from the game corner. I'm not sure how everyone will react to yet another partner but I came home with a Skitty tonight. Her name is Incognita, for the sheer fact that she seems to not like being around when someone calls her name.
Oh, I also heard from Leon recently. He asked me to meet him at the park we used to go to before we got our Pokemon and set off in different directions.
I agreed to find him.. perhaps this will be a little fun.
