I think Wong Kar-Wai plays the husband in Fruit Chan's portion of Three, Monster.

I haven't seen any Wong Kar Wai films, but I was intrigued by 2046. Would this be a good one to start with or should I start with one of his older fims?

His most accessible is Chungking Express. I highly recommend that one for anyone curious about WKW.

Alright great, I'll check that one out. Sounds good, I like Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Kaneshiro is in the first half hour of the movie, the rest of the film mainly focuses on Faye Wong and Tony Leung's characters.

I read from IMDB that he's supposed to be working on a movie called The Lady from Shanghai.

I am a relatively new fan of Wong Kar Wai. I especially love his film In the Mood for Love and am hoping to order the Criterion version from Amazon soon! *crosses fingers* I want to see 2046 bad. It's playing at the local theatre in Holland but the subtitles are in Dutch, so I'd only understand bits and pieces of it.

I've also heard from IMDB that he's working on The Lady from Shanghai! And, that Nicole Kidman's slated to star. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I saw ITMFL in theaters. Me and like 5 other people. gonk

I went when it wasn't busy, but I *adore* the music in that film. I really want the soundtrack to it.

Ahh... yes the music is awesome. Do they have the soundtrack for sale anywhere? Ah yes.. I see it here on Amazon... for... 23$ CDN. Not bad I don't think. Maybe they'll have some deal with the movie and soundtrack for cheap!
