Remember, each post can hold over 50,000 characters. Use your space wisely. whee
Actually, 'thee' and 'thou' in English are more informal. They're the equivalent of the French 'tu'; 'you' is 'vous'. Modern cultures lack of etymological comprehension has led a lot of people to believe that it's more formal, though, just because of its archaicism.

In terms of modern English, not Elizabethan smile so technically, I'm right... rolleyes I be sillyz. I actually say "ye"... But I think that's more because I tend to drop the -ou part and attach the "yih" onto the next word rolleyes Yeah, I know it can hold a lot, but I like to divide up, y'know? Anyways... I need to get used to writing though--this whole translit thing is good for typing, but I need to learn to write as well rofl BTWDoes it seem that I need more tenses? Tenses generally deal with time, so since I have only a vague grasp on time (and distance rolleyes ), I don't have much in terms of tenses... Randomosity: Note on Japanese from this--y'know how it's present/future and past? I would make past/present and future rofl

When I put up my numbers, I'm quite sure that the majority of you will go "WTF? eek "
Aquénandi numbers aren't normal. Not by usual standards.

It's not exactly base five, but it's based on five... well... yeah... wait... hmm. It's not really base five, no. It's centered around fives, but it's not "100" for "25", it's 5 5 for 25. It multiplies instead. Until 50. 100 will be 2 50. and so on. higher numbers I haven't done so much yet. I'll figure it out soon.

I just kind of threw it together and figured it sounded strange enough to work ("Off the wall"?? it makes no sense!)
And it sort of makes sense, like you get all worked up an dit's like youve been eating screams so much that they have to come out
or something.

w007!! Kintarasesa still exists!
I posted some words in vocabulary #2, and also--the conlingual cafe exists too! I posted in it, so it's moving again biggrin
I'm also thinking of a new conlang; it has sounds similar to portuguese but probably sounds, when spoken, like a cross between Japanese and ...hmm... something with lots of soft sounds in it, the way Russian sounds to me (I've only heard it spoken by a few, though). I only have a few phrases, because I was playing with sounds one night and decided that what I mumbled should mean something rofl

I've added a bunch of vocab...
ALSO! I have some kintarasesa in my profile now biggrin
ninja I will give 1000g (1k!) to the first person who can record it, speaking correctly...... all in one go. One chance per person, void if you patch together saying it (like, say you get the first half right then the second half then patch... no. You don't get that)
I'm having a little trouble myself, I don't speak very well since I don't get much chance to practice aside from individual words. I'll save mine to compare once I get it right myself, though. razz I may delay checking until I have it right, just so there's no chance of bias or anything like that.
