Aya was getting fidgeting sitting down, so she stood up to pace around the fire. "Wouldn't it be nice to have some marshmellows?" she asked, rubbing her tummy. Looking back over the river, Aya saw her pack lying on the ground with her food in it. Oh, how she would love to eat it right now! She didn't even know what her mother had packed her. Was it suishi? Oh, how she would love to eat some Tokyo Fantasy suishi right now. Her stomach growled slightly at the thought of delicious food. Aya laughed as she walked over to to bamboo bundles. "I knew it! We ARE going to be learning Kawamiri today!" she said with excitement. What other kind of Jutsu would require a bundle of bamboo?

After everyone was around the fire, Koro brought over the bundles of bamboo. "Alright, today, as I think you've all expected, we're going to be learning the Kawamiri no Jutsu. This technique is very helpful to avoid attacks without dodging and its a set up for a counter attack. To use this technique you must have something to replace yourself with," he told them, putting his foot up on one of the bamboo bundles. "Which will be bamboo for now," he said with a smile.
"Questions?" he asked and awaited.

[Meji. Just skip the swimming exercise for now. You'll get another chance to improve that skill later.

The DC for Kawarimi is the opponent's attack roll + 10. Your Kawarimi escape roll is 1d20 + Kawarimi skill. -1 Cp for each successful attempt. Just for practice, pretend your attacker's roll is 3. Complete this training 4 times and then recieve 10 Experience once training is completed.]

"Yes! I'm totally ready!" Aya said jumping to her feet. She also offered to help Sano up, before running over to grab a bamboo bundle. "So, I switch places with this and hide behind the enemy? Or in a tree or something right?" she asked juggling the weight of the bamboo wrap. That doesn't sound very easy, she thought to herself, as she began to practice with moving and switching. "Alright, I think I'm ready," she said.

She had barely done it, but nonetheless, she did it. "This is really tough," Aya said with a concentrated face. The Kawamiri seemed to require no skill in any area she had already explored. It was a skill all on its own.

This time, when Aya tried the technique, she would try and hide in the bamboo stalks. It would be tough to jump and hide while switching spots with the bundle, but she would still try it. Ok, Aya, this isn't as hard as you think it is. You did it once! You can do it again!, she coached herself as she tried the jutsu again.

She had fail to hide properly and switch with the item. It had dropped and fumbled within her hands. "Dang it!" she said as the bundle hit the ground. "Sensei, this is hard. I barely did it the first time and the second time I dropped it. Could you show us demonstration, please?" she asked him.

"Sure, no problem. Aya, why don't you come at me, eh?" he asked her as he picked up her roll of bamboo. Setting to the side, he stood non-chalantly waiting for her to come. "Full strength and speed, like you really want to hit me, ok?" he instructed her, waiting for consent and movement.

"Hai," the little girl said with a nod. Running at Koro-sensei, she squatted down low before delivering a round house kick to his head. Trying her hardest, Aya kept her eyes on Koro-sensei hoping to be able to see his movements.

His eyes locked with Aya's as she began her kick. It wasn't the strongest kick he knew she could deliver. She would have to learn to get over the fact that he's her teacher and give ever kick and punch her fullest when attacking in practice. Although her attack did give the perfect opportunity to show the children the Kawamiri technique. Grabbing the bamboo wrap, he quickly switched places with it. Hopefully, Aya's kick would be stopped by the bamboo as he quickly moved behind her.

"That's how its done," he said, leaning down by Aya's ear and talking in his regular voice. Standing up straight, he looked at his other students. "Well, I want you to try it again. Meji, Sano and Izuki! Hurry up and hop to it!" he instructed them with a firm voice. Sano had been trying his hardest, but something seemed to be lacking. Meji was lacking more than Sano while Izuki was acting strange and barely speaking at all. There was something wrong with the boys in the group lately. Aya was the only one acting nor- That's when it hit him. Were the boys getting shy around Aya? No, that couldn't be it. They were too young for that! Although, Koro was wondering what was up with the lack of participation.

As Aya's foot hit the wooden bamboo, she was more than shocked. Landing on her feet, she was confused at where Koro-sensei had gone. But then, she felt the breath of him right behind her as he spoke. Turning around quickly, she smiled at the use this jutsu had. At first, she felt lack of motivation to complete the jutsu, because it just seemed useless. Although, after Koro-sensei's demonstration, the little girl was more than amazed. "Wow! I can't wait to get this down!" she told him, running over to where she had kicked her bundle of bamboo. "Come on guys! This jutsu is better than Henge!" she told them, excited to train once again.

Aya tried her ideal way again. She would replace herself quickly with the bamboo bundle as she jumped up into the bamboo stalks to hide. It sounded simplier now and hopefully she could do it. 1,2,3... she counted down to herself as she quickly made her own steps in her head. Stand vulnerable for the attack, switch with the bundle and hide in the trees.

Once again, Aya fumbled the bundle with her fingers and wasn't able to hide in time. She would've gotten hit by her opponent. Raising her hand, she asked Koro, "Can we practice with partners? I think it would be easier than imagining an attacker." Hopefully, the other kids would agree and sensei would pair them up.
