Adencia twisted her fingers not knowing if she should accept or reject his Garren’s offer. “Unless you have a room with a sturdy door that locks on the outside then I suggest I sleep in the woods and you shut the mansion up tight tonight. If you do have a room for me you had better not mind damaged upholstery as well. You never can expect what can happen with my curse, so always expect and prepare for the worst.” Adencia bent down and picked up her quiver, strapping it to her shoulder. She pushed her long, braided hair over her right arm so it hung in front down to her waist. “So, what’ll it be, Master Garren?”

He shifted his foot slightly, showing signs of discomfort. Damnit. Perhaps he'd rather have Isarelle out with them now, seeing as she was the one raised to be a perfect hostess. He...was not. He'd abandoned his charm sometime ago, and seemed to regret it at this sudden need to have some back. Garren began to rub the hilt of the sword at his side like a security blanket, but still kept the appearance of one in calm.
"Yes...well. We will try to do the best we can to accomodate all of you. Though we don't have any servants or maids anymore to tend to you thoroughly, we could at least offer you a meal if you don't wish to stay within..."
At that, he faced Khnui. And then to Adencia...
"...And we do have a dunge- er, wine cellar that fits those specifications. Furniture would have to be moved into it to make you more comfortable, but we have enough where it is no loss to lose some. I can...take you on a tour, if you wish. If none other of the summoned cursed are coming post-haste."
Turning towards the manor, he lifted his fingers as if beckoning them to follow. But with a pause, he looked over his shoulder to Tala at remembering her question.
"...And yes. She can."
Focusing back to the front, his facial expression drooped. How he hoped he would not be terrible at this. It did not seem that he would be visiting the training room anytime this hour, either...
Tilting his head from inside, Isarelle snickered.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine. I'll talk you through this...though I do wish I could be giving the tour myself! I know I'd use more expressive gestures and heart, but...oh well..."
To this, Garren gave a little sardonic smirk.
"Heh."

He shook his head at Tala. "No, I'll be fine. But thanks anyways, I'll take up on your offer when I need it. I just hope that I can repay you somehow." He said before turning to Garren. "And I'll be staying inside, I just won't be using a bed." He started to head in the mansion.

“Your accommodations, I’m sure, will be fine. I will not be in need of furnishings, but thank you for the offer.” Adencia said while following Garren to the manor. She sensed his dis-ease and discomfort and hoped it wasn’t because of all of his new guests.
“I will not be needing a tour,” she continued, “I find that I am less provoked to wander at night when I am unaware of my surroundings. Once again thank you for the offer.”
Adencia wasn’t quite sure if she was playing the right part of humble guest, for she hadn’t had contact with others in very long. She thought herself to be the crudest elf to be known and had a hard time keeping the manners she never used. There was no need for them in the forest, it was just her and the animals and none of them seemed to mind. She was everything short of a Lady of the Manor, thought she did sport the features. What could she say, she had the crude ways of a hunter and all the rude bodily noises to come with it.

On the threshold of his home, Garren turned to Adencia.
"...As you wish, I suppose. Just make yourself comfortable somewhere, besides anywhere you shouldn't be."
At this, Isarelle whacked the inside of his head. Holding his temple, he snapped back.
"Ow! What?!"
Grumbling, he checked to see if he hadn't lost the other two. After confirmation, he extended his hand through the open doorway in an amateur fashion.
"This...is the main hallway. It basically branches off to every other room. And the stairs. Right there."
Pointing at the obvious stairs to the right, his sister inwardly sighed.
"This will take awhile."

Adencia gave a slight jump to Garren’s small outburst to, seemingly, no one. She let it go thinking that it was his sister. She took a step inside the manor besides Garren’s outstretched arm and stood near the doorway as she gazed around. The inside was a spectacular sight. The ceiling stretched high and paintings adorned the walls. She looked to the stairs at her right that Garren had pointed out and took a step towards them. She felt her stomach twist a little as it made a slight noise. She gave it a small glance and realized how hungry she was.
“If you wouldn’t mind, Garren,” Adencia said while turning to the tall figure, “I would like to go hunting before I retire. Your sister’s summoning spell interrupted my hunting earlier and I missed dinner.”

Tala took in the rich furnishings of the manor with a low whistle. Sing-chanting softly she said, "Garren, I just need a bed, could you point me to the nearest one, I am just short of exhaustion. Besides I wouldn't want to be where I should not be." She raised one brow as she said this and searched the mans face, curiosity nawing at her. Wondering at what sort of family these two did, or had belonged too, to preside in such lavish conditions, she was carefull not to scuff the polish on the floor with her heels and clutched tight ot her staff. She heard Adencia's request to hunt and supplied, "I spotted deer and quite a few foul on my way here from the north east."

He reached into his shirt and pulled out a small leather bag. "Here, I always carry around jerked deer just in case food was scarce." He offered to Adencia. "I can easily make more when we start on our journey, so don't worry about using up my stores." He said with a smile. There was also the fact that he always kept enough to last a week..... Well, thinly rashioned that is. But he can easily last with very little food when he needed to.

“Thank you.” Adencia said, kindly accepting his offer. She took the small bag and hooked it to her belt as she stepped further into the mansion. She was in complete awe for she had never seen such a fortress. Her Elvin country was very humble and shamed those who adorned themselves with lavish living conditions and took heed to materialism. But Adencia never cared about what the others thought. She just said, ‘if they can live their lives in superiority then let them do so. Life is too short not to live it to its fullest.’
She looked back to Garren, suddenly feeling very tired and said, “If you wouldn’t mind pointing me to my room, I will be on my way.”

Slightly relieved that he did not have to showcase their entire home, he took heed to appease everyone's requests. Mostly because they were but for rest, Garren merely pointed off to a corridor on the left as a sidenote as he began to ascend the stairs.
"We've a kitchen on the second door to the right there. Feel free to help yourselves to food anytime you wish, and you may use anything you need to to prepare it. ...But I'm sure Isarelle is happy to cook for you, as apparently she has not served a feast in so long. Our own meat rations are slimming, though...it has been difficult to procure from the town."
Looking back down, he smiled softly for Tala and Khnui to follow him. For Adencia, he held back a sigh.
"I will need to escort you to the room myself. It is on the ground floor... and it is hidden ...Please, wait here."

Adencia nodded to Garren curtly and faced away from him while he waited for the other two top follow. What he head said about her room was… interesting. The ‘ground floor’ part sounded good. It was the ‘hidden’ part that caught her attention. A hidden room? What is the purpose for a hidden room? Adencia shrugged and continued to look around, waiting for Garren to return.

He also looked around. His face grim as looked all the lavish furniture and such. He would much rather sleep in the forest, but he didn't wish to be rude his host. So he would stay for the night, but he would just simply sleep on the couch since that was all he would need. He sighed heavily as he traced his hand along the mantel piece. What was fine craftmanship and probably cost a fortune and have taken a long time to do it. Although he himself knew a lot about metals and how to craft them. But he knew when to appreciate the craftmanship of others. He remembered when he tried to use marble, but he was too impatient and ended up breaking the slab he was working on. He had then since appreciated good work when it involved marble.

((Oh... crap. I was just cruising through the RPs and found this one. As I scrolled through the character list, I saw my user. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience (though I'm sure none was caused). Perhaps someone could tell me what's happened and I can find a way to wriggle into the plot.))

(Nothing much. We've just gotten together and told each other what are curses was..... Well, more or less. But we haven't gone on the journey yet so you can get one of the white spirits to lead you towards the mansion.)

With a smile as frail as his little body, Cerdik followed the whispy white spirit onward. He cared not where it went. It was a miracle! Of course it was rather odd considering he had been trying to summon a more physically boastful guardian. Still, it didn't matter to him as long as he had something. He just hoped it was capable of defending him like the books had said.
Then his mind got caught on one odd detail. Ever since the little spirit had appeared, it had been trying to wander off, but not without Cerdik close by. It was leading him somewhere. He hadn't thought of that until now. "Little Spirit, by chance could you converse to me our destination?" It was amazing how smoothly his words would come when no other people were present.
The Spirit never answered him, though. Cerdik's question was answered with a rather abrupt collision with the large wooden door before him. Calling out in surprise, he swore in the Ancient Tongue and fell back on his butt, clutching a leather-bound book tightly to his chest.
With a rather sudden CRACK, the front doors fell inward and made an even louder BANG that echoed through the main foyer. The incident had been the result of his sudden mutterings. Blinking in surprise, and then becoming fretful, Cerdik climbed to his feet.
"Oh-oh n-no... No... N-n-no!" He shook his head fearfully and began breathing much too quickly. This made him light-headed and dizzy. Blinking and taking a few steps forward, he used the wall for support, still clutching his book tightly.
Cerdik eased his breathing to a normal pace shortly thereafter and slid down the wall. Whose house it was or what they would do to him were not on his mind at the moment. Cerdik was wondering where in the whispy courses of Ether it had gone. Pushing himself to stand, he began wandering, blissfully forgetting that he had just blown down someone's door and was now wandering aimlessly through their house.
"Little Spirit, where mayst I beget your company? Little Spirit?"
((She beat him to death with his own skull... Wait, that's not physically possible... I know, that's what Jimmy was screaming... THIS ISN'T PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!! AAGHGHGH!! *Death Gurgle*))
