Looking at it now, it seems that Bush will win (out of the partial results states, he's winning in the majority of them)
It's a shame. I'm just thankful I'm not American.
[edit] No offense to anyone, of course. I just don't like Bush. I haven't seen anything of the other guys, but Bush really does come across as an idiot, and I don't like the tricks he uses to win, either.

The prospect of 4 more years of Bush scares me, to be honest. I'm a Canadian living in the US - Bush's actions these last four years have shown a dislike for me and those like me, by virtue of the fact I'm not American and I'm from a country who wasn't part of the coalition of the "willing". Even though I'm down here totally legally, I'm very very scared by this whole thing.
I really, REALLY hope Ohio's absentee ballots push it blue.

I haven't seen anything of the other guys, but Bush really does come across as an idiot, and I don't like the tricks he uses to win, either. No, I'm ashamed to be an American. No apolgies needed. I will argue with anyone about how Bush is the worst thing to happen to this country since Joseph McCarthy.

It's over. Kerry let it slip and concieded this morning, unofficial results in say Bush made the 174 and Ohio went red. Looks like I need to remember that the area I live in is not the whole of the nation after all. sweatdrop

Yes, indeed. Unfortunately it looks like our president has the whole country (or just about), brainwashed again. Well, look on the bright side, at least he can't legally run for a third term. Of course on the dark side he's got another four years to screw this country up even more, and what with his record and Patriot Act, the Sequel coming out soon, things aren't looking too good for the land of the "free" and the home of the "brave".

Meh.
You want something scary to think about?
Jeb Bush might run when Dubya has to exit. xd
In any event, I really have gotten over this, because no matter who was in charge, it'd end up similarly - they'd do something someone didn't like, there'd be some screaming over it, and within about 4 years, it wouldn't matter anymore because it'd be cancelled out by some other decisions.
In the end, this whole thing will balance. 3nodding

Surprised that you voted Republican, not that you are one. There seems to be this weird stereotype among a lot of people that certain religions cannot possess a population that is Republican or Conservative politically to any degree. This has never made sense to me since it doesn't really seem logical that there would be any connection between religion and politics, at least not in this day and age.
