To the dining room? Amaro sighed and waited for the other to start shuffling through the doorway. There was no point in trying to push his way through. No doubt he'd only end up with a nasty case of claustrophobia, or even worse, talking to one of his far flung relatives. While he watched everyone move past, Amadeo turned up. Amaro greeted him with a nod, politely shaking his hand while attempting a smile. A smooth talker that one. Amadeo was the kind of guy you'd follow to the ends of the earth if he only asked. Shaking his head slightly, the male began to follow the others.

This room was as lush as the last. Finding his seat took some doing, but thankfully, once he did find it, he wasn't with anyone that was too interested in striking up a conversation. Taking a seat, he sighed with relief. This whole thing was getting slightly too much. At least on the outside he appeared unruffled. Amaro looked bored and definitely not in the mood for interruptions. His silver gaze peered around the room, his expression a harsh glare.

SHe smiled and nodded at the male. "Of course." SHe then turned to Cry Wolf and watched as the Meanki seemed interested in the male, she shrugged it off, she didn't care, he was a guy, and she wasn't, she didn't mind that fact that no one was interested in her, she wasn't used to it anyway.

The tip of her tail tapped against his hips as she fingered her ear for a moment before smiling at up at the male, after Cry Wolf had introduced herself she desided to do the same. "My name is Tejina Giovanni." She nodded her head once more as a manner of greeting before Cry Wolf asked the male name, as she glanced at Cry Wolf she smiled a bit more, the Meanki seemed to be a bit friendly with her. Friends were okay, maybe..

{--Giggles- whee Ok, ok.. just to get things moving -Sorry to cut off any RP's crying - we should start the evening of the second day. Whaaat? >.> You aren't going to see the three, high-rankers eating their breakfast in the warm sunlight now are you? XD-}

The house had been quiet last night after dinner had ended and everyone spread out over the Manor. Yet Amadeo had noted a particular presence, Shyam. So, he'd come back had he? It wasn't ususual for Amadeo to notice such fluxes, especially with his little trip-wire spirits, if you could call them that. The little eyes that watched everything in the Manor. But as day stretched on and he slept, the noises within the Manor did not disturb him. Day slowly crawled into a warm evening, fireflies plucking out of the night to dance lazily across the front and back lawn, lighting up the evening as if to illuminate their party. Rising, his body renewed, ready to tackle the event and task at hand this evening. There was still much left to do before the final day of the affair and things were progressing well, in fact, better than he'd thought. The arrival of Shyam didn't bother him, though he did have a few things he needed to.. sort out with the male.

The Masquerade would begin in a few short hours, by now the Grand Ballroom would already be decorated and set up, a famous musical troupe from Italy had been gracious enough to play for them. Gracious, and well paid. Clicking his claws over the thick, leather-bound book set carefully atop his desk he slipped it into one of the drawers and locked it. The room itself was creepy, for lack of a better word. But that was only because he kept such close company with so many spirits and he'd earned enough of them to have them act as guard dogs of sorts. It was going to be an eventful evening, that was for certain. Alas, finally the clan would be alive, filling the night once again and reminding all that the Giovanni were far from gone.

{You never know XD}

Shyam lingered just at the edge of the manor, disquieted, wary of the silence following the first day of celebration. Nothing yet. Amadeo's presence made the warm evening air chilly. But...he hadn't been approached, hadn't even seen him during hours of mingling, wandering, pondering on the strange feeling that kept intruding. Just what were they planning here?

Unfortunately, he had never been able to wait while things happened, and so when his uneasiness deepened found himself heading to Amadeo's quarters. The other male may not be concerned, but he couldn't stand to sit.

Amaro sat in his room. Admiring its lavishness. Four poster bed, silk sheets. When he'd first entered the room he hadn't wanted to touch anything. But practicality had won in the end and he'd spent an almost enjoyable on the large, comfortable bed. Sighing a little, he stood. The masquerade would be starting soon, so Amaro knew he should start preparing. No doubt the rest of the Giovanni had been getting ready since dawn. He didn't have any such need. It would only take him about an hour to have a bath and get dressed. The male sighed again. He'd brought what he'd need for the party. It would have been foolish not to. That didn't mean he wanted to go.

Amaro whistled as he dressed; first the brown breeches, and over the top a red cape with gold trim. Surprisingly enough, he'd actually put some thought into what he'd be wearing, instead of slapping anything together. That Giovanni pride showing through. For a masquerade you had to wear a mask, right? Amaro had made his own. It fit over the top half of his face, and was covered in red and gold feathers. He was happy in how it turned out. He stood in front of the mirror for a moment. It was quite possible that he could be considered dashing, too bad he couldn't see it. Amaro glared at his reflection.

And now, to wait.

Opening her eyes slowly, Cry Wolf woke up and rolled over onto her side. She loathed leaving the comfortable bed, with its soft golden colored sheets and more pillows than necessary. She sat up, her legs hanging off of the side of the bed, stretching a bit. The masquerade would start soon, and shed have to have to get ready soon if she wanted to be ready in time. Being quite vain at times, it could take her hours to get ready, especially for lavish event such as this. She stood up, and walked over to her mirror. After making sure that each hair of hers was in place, she fixed her red lipstick. She smiled at her reflection, admiring her own beauty. She was, after all, a very beautiful female. She walked over to a dresser in the room, which was made of a rich, dark wood. On top was a mask she had bought, specially for the event. It was black, with gold as decorations, and rare feathers. The Giovanni female bought the Venetian mask, knowing it would be perfect for such an event.

Cry Wolf slipped the mask on, careful of her hair and makeup. She wanted to look perfect for the masquerade. Looking into a full length mirror, she took in a sharp breath, taken aback by how lovely she looked in the mask. She gave herself a big smile, turned around in a circle to make sure everything was perfect, then sat down in a chair to wait for the event to start. She tapped her claws lightly on a desk in the room, daydreaming a bit.

((whoot, click the linky! i had a mask done for her <33 you look now rahh.. and will cont. in the next post later.))

{-Very pretty Cy! n-n She looks gorgeous. <3 -}

Amadeo turned his attention to the mask sitting on his desk, it was old, almost as old as the Giovanni and transported from Venice Italy, from the old home where the Council resided. Half a mask that covered one side of the face, there was another half but it had yet to be uncovered. Somewhere and for some reason a Giovanni had decided to hide it where as this one was obsidian with silver around the edges, the eye, mouth and around the outside fringes. The other was a mirror opposite being silver with obsidian edges. It looked calm and serene, almost as though it had seen far beyond what any mortal or immortal should. He'd wear it tonight.

Yet his eyes narrowed suddenly as he felt a tug upon his tail, that girl. Turning his gaze he was greeted by a small girl, no more than five with a large, unearthly grin plastered upon her normally cute and dainty features. "We have company do we?" And with a giggle she disappeared. Running his claws over the mask he let out a slow sigh, his eyes shifting to the fire which danced and writhed in its rich bed of coals. The evening was going to be long yet he found the air tingling with electricity. So much promise, the Clan would be strong again. He'd see to it.

((Hee, Alex was being a lazy bum and wouldn't let me harass her for a mask myself, but I love Cry Wolf's.))

Nalleme was attentive to every last detail of her appearance. Opulence was the key for tonight. She had to be noticed, by Amadeo, by everyone. She would match the decor in opulence. And opulent it was.

Her room was beautiful, that could be said. Her room at her own home was nowhere near this grandiose, but the view over the city was one she treasured greatly from her own bedroom windows. Satin, velvet, crystal. Everywhere. So that is what she would dress herself in.

She had an old-fashioned gown, popular in the late 1870s, with large ruffled bustle, the color matching her hair and eyes, a rich cerulean. There were velvet panels in the bodice, the skirt and bustle were velvet-lined satin. The beading on the bodice at at her wasit, and in her hair, were tiny crystals, reflecting light in rainbows about the room.

She was beautiful. She was opulent. She was Giovanni.

The Nymphae decided to see if she couldn't catch a few eyes before the ball, and left her room, hoping to run into someone. Yes, she was showing off, but she didn't much care. Beauty was meant to be shown.

Hour growing nearer to the ball, She decided to slip her dress on. She couldnt risk wrinkling it or something of the sorts before the masquerade started. With some help, shed put on a corset and hoopskirt to go under the dress.. Commonly worn in the early 1700s. She had put the petticoat on over it, and the open-fronted gown on top of that. The petticoat showed through the open fronted gown, and was black with gold trim, to match the mask. The gown itself was white, with golden floral prints and black lace trim, and a large, golden ribbon went around her waist with a bow tied in the back.

As a last touch to her grand outfit, she put on a golden necklack, with a single, large diamond hanging from it. The small crystals on the mask accented the diamond necklace, making it stand out more. She slipped one of her many diamond rings onto her finger, and finished dressing up the masquerade. She took one look in the mirror; with the event being so close, she didnt have much time to change her outfit. She looked at herself closely, and smiled happily, deciding she didnt need to change a thing. She was truly beautiful naturally, and looked even more stunning tonight. The gown accented her slim, curved figure, and the mask made her face look a bit mysterious. She smoothed the front of her dress, and, after placing a small golden tiara adorned with tiny diamonds, headed to the door of her room...

Slipping on a rather modern dress that matched the top she was wearing earlier, Michelina glanced at the delicate looking mask on her tabletop. All was quiet, but she knew the party hadn't yet even begun. The masquerade, everything they were about was tonight. Earrings, bracelets, and a necklace adorned her upper body. She was careful to look more like the modern Giovanni since she still had a teenager's appearence.

Grabbing her gold laced mask, Michelina headed towards Amadeo's room. Tapping on the door softly, Michelina called in hoping she wasn't disturbing him. "Amadeo?" It was safe up here, if there was anybody around, they'd be around on Amadeo's orders and nobody else's. Though she sensed a presence... an... old presence. She must be quick.

It would be interesting to see what the chosen Giovanni would choose to wear and act tonight. It would be part of Amadeo and her decision, because if they weren't completely Giovanni then they would have nothing to do with that kat.
