Hearing a voice on deck, Gwylen tunrned around and started to walk back toward where she'd heard the sound. Seeing the other person she walked over to her. "I'm Gwylen, what be your interest with my ship?"
While she said this she continued to undo the braid her hair was in, a task that she had started on the way to her cabin.

hearing aproching footsteps he turned to see the man from the ship running towards him. he darted foward and took the dunk's purse and ran toward the crowd. upon reaching the crowd he moved towards the front to follow the drunk to see if he toppled over and "dropped" anything.

Once she'd gotten the woman's attention, Stara lifted Bahari off her shoulders and placed him on the deck. "My name's Stara Rantel, a pleasure." She said, holding her hand out to her. "I'm here to ask if you'd need another hand on board. A friend of mine heard there was a woman around Tortuga looking for a crew, and I'm interested." She said, a friendly smile on her face.
The fact that the ship's owner was another woman like herself gave her a great sense of relief. Had it been a man, they wouldn't look over her twice. At least not to give her a decent job onboard. Nonetheless, this was an opportunity she couldn't let pass her by.

Jack stumbled a bit as he was shoved from behind, but he did not fall. He passed a bar, and wished he had money for something to eat, but his purse was empty as usual, as he continued his walk he, could see that the sky out towards the sea was getting fairly dark, though he didn't think it was suppose to rain. Then stopping to think for a moment, he turned around and started heading back towards the dock.

Shaking the other woman hand Gwyln nodded and listened to her. She had to smile at the cat, as she was rather fond of them. "What be your skills that might be useful on a boat such as this?" She asked. With just her being female abroad it might be manageable, but with this young woman as well she'd likely need to change the bunking arrangements..... it was something to think on.

A figure stalked through the crowds, weaving in and out of the way of people. 'Stupid blighters.' he said, cursing them all. He bumped into someone, and continued on with a murmur. Slipping into an alley, he tapped a brick, and walked into a secret door, tossing a sack up and down in his hand. The man laughed, and lowered the hood of his cloak to reveal a black bandanna, and a black leather mask, with marking on the mask akin to bear maulings. 'Stupid idiot.' he said, laughing as he poured the contents of the sack into a bowl.
'Time to tally up the earnings from this morning.' he said. 'Three pouches, two purses, and one sack.' he said, pulling coins out and counting them individually.
A man with a green vest, black pants and boots, and a white tunic walked in. 'Darien, shall I put out the sign now?' he asked.
'Yes, Damien. Put the sign out front.' he replied. The sign in question read as: 'Twysted Dragons' Hunters' Guild, recruiting.'
Damien, a Spanish 'hunter,' like Darien, stepped outside, and placed the sign up in the window sill.
Darien laughed as he counted more and more of the coins he'd 'acquired.'

"During my years at sea, I've been confined to the Crow's Nest. Therefore, I've developed a good eye to the unsual or possibly dangerous fit for any Lookout. Also, I'm very skilled with rope. This allowing me to manuever easily around the sides of the boat to get from main mast to deck in seconds." She said, stepping over to one of the ship's shrouds and grazing some of the ropes in her hands. Sure, most of her skills had been wasted atop that blasted nest, but either way she gained more from it than she thought.
"Knowledge of any ship is something I also possess. Give me a day to run through this ship, and I'll be able to pin point everything from stern to bowsprit." This was said with a triumphfant smile on her face. Not everyone had good memory, let alone any. Soon after, she threw a glance towards Bahari. He was one that definetely enjoyed hunting the stowaway mice in the cabins. Come to think of it, it's one of that cat's favorite things to do when onboard. Next to the occasional dive that is. She thought as she knelt down to pat the small cat. "Apart from swift swordhandling, speed, and a mice-hunting cat, that's all I've got to offer." She said, bowing her head slightly at the woman.

Gwylen nodded as the woman spoke. She had a good build, and the crow's nest was hardly sought after on most ships. Why not? "Alright, if you wish to come, you be welcome to. But no special treatment comes your way." Looking fondly at the cat she went on. "A good mouser is worth it's weight in gold.....I suggest you keep a knife on your person at all times, as I will be doing. Men get drunk and do things they might even regret in the morning."

Noir stood in the heat of battle, well i'm not sure could call it the heat of battle, maybe the stupor of battle would be more apropriate. It was almost a daily occurence for Noir and his fellow associates. They always purposely went out and found or started these fights. Noir's eyes conected with the three other people who were stationed around the edge of the fight. He passed the sign to them and they leaped in the fray, throwing a punch here and a kick there, but mostly just grabing pouches and purses from dazed and confused pirates. Noir held back for a moment releaving a disdruntled pirate on his bottle of rum, he never even noticed. Noir took a large swig before wiping his mouth and chucking the bottle in a random direction knowing it would only increase the brawl. Then noir slipped into the fray himself dodging wild punches and random sword thrust. He moved like a shadow through the fray. to say he had sticky fingers would be a grave understatement, it was more like he had an air of magnetizism aroumd him, purse wallets and pouches seemed to fly to hand. Soon he was at the other side of the bar near the door where the other three waited for him. they left together grins on there faces and retuned to there dingy hideout.
"So lets see, 10 purses, 8 walllets, and various pouches, totalling in all around 238 gold a good take for just two fights." he nodded in aproal to his young students. Sudenly a smaller boy no more then 12 rushed up to him.
"Leader, we've had word of a woman looking for a crew!" his face as filled with joy and hope.
Noir tousled this boys hair "thank you my boy," he stood surveying the 50 some teens and children around him. "Hey,...." no attention garnered. ""Listen up you bloody gits!" he had there attenion now. "I have served as your leader since this gangs formation. Now I must resign my position. Why you ask? Because well simply I never liked this town, so Bruno you can be leader now. yes, I know of your plot to do away with me and I congratulate for swaying so many members, but just so you know it would have never worked." with that Noir Faucon founder of the Black hawks turned his back and strode away from the gang forever never once looking back. He of course had pocketed the gold from today. He headed towards the docks intent on finding that ship.

((Note to all newcomers, Bo is disguised as a man. there is not a liveing soul who knows she is a woman, well... those who do know have taken her for dead. So please, approch her as if she is a man.))
Bo was just stopping by one of her faveorate bars where the bar tender was kind enough to keep her affects when she docked on the rock entitled "Tortuga". A brawl was going on, as usual, with a few child-thives going around to rob all the stupid drunks; Of corse anyone who made any attempt on her purse was promptly beat to the ground with her hardened sailer's muscles.
She picked up her affects, with a kind tip of the hat to the bar tender and made her way back through the brawl. As she was just getting ready to leave she saw a small band of theives exchangeing news of a woman looking for a crew. They must be talking about Bo's new boss, this might turn out profitably if She waited for a moment.
Bo didn't quite catch what was exchanged between the small band but they where heading to where ever they did buisness to discuss that. She didn't plan on folowing a band of thieves for the sake of a crew member or two.
So, with nothing better to do Bo made her way back to the docks unsuccesful in finding even a single half decent crew member. How horrable was that?! When she arrived back at the docks she found that there was another woman aboard the ship. Now what where the chances of two women and a tomboy in disguise being on the same ship?
"Who's the lass?"
Bo asked as she approched Gwen with her pack of affects slung over her sholder.

"Your words are wise. I'll be sure to take them into consideration." Stara said as she stood back up. True, me tend to be unpredictable. That's something she learned on the ship with Zackery and them. That's why she was stationed on the Crow's Nest. That's why she would sometimes sleep there, as long as the weather was formidable. "Thank you for the opportunity." She said this wihle taking a slight bow. During that time, she heard yet another pair of footsteps on deck. Seing it was a man, she kept silent, despite the question. This is how she would normally act around men, especialy if they were "sailors". Instead, she merely looked over the man, waiting for the other woman to give the answer.

Darien still sat behind his desk, weeding through the coinage. 'Five hundred eighty-one, Five hundred eighty-two...' Suddenly, Damien burst in.
'Darien, there's a woman looking to hire some crewmen for the Fate.' he said, putting two more sacks on the table.
'Damit, now I have to startover, you jerk.' Darien replied. 'Wait... a ship you say? I'm intrigued, go on.'
'Well, I guess she's in need of some crewmen for this ship, and that's really all I've gotten. Thought you might want to know.' Damien replied.
'Well, this could work for me. I have some business elsewhere I needed to get to eventually. Thanks, Damien. You'll hold up the fort, won't you?' Darien asked.
'Of course, mate.' Damien responded.
'Alright, I'm taking half of this, you can keep the rest. Be sure to getsome hirelings.'
'No problem.'
With that, Darien Glaive put his red vest back on, covered his mouth with his mask, and put his masque on. Leaving the building, he grabbed his mantle on the way out. He walked to the dock, and looked around for a woman by a ship. Finding two women and a man by a ship, he assumed that was it. Walking up to the group, he nodded his head approvingly.
'I hear someone's looking for crewmen?' he asked. 'I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to ships, but I assure you I can get you some nice income.' he said, hintingly. He bowed to the woman who seemed to be in charge, and introduced himself as such: 'The name is Darien Glaive, founder of the Twysted Dragons guild, and treasure hunter extraordinaire. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.'

"She's to be our lookout." Gwylen said, inclining her head slightly toward Stara. Seeing that Bo was alone, she had to guess his luck had been limited..
"Not much luck?" She asked, keeping her expression neutral. They might even be better off at some lawful port, if it got them a crew. Seeing another man walk up behind them, Gwylen inclined her head politely at his introduction. Treasure hunter eh?
"So you have an interest of shippping out with us then? I'm sure we can teach you somethng useful while we're at sea."

Noir stood at the gangplank of the reported ship hand behind his head.Well... it's preety big to say the least... I wonder how many guns it has onboard... cannons... cannons are good they blow up stuff nice. Hmmm... but the lad said something about a woman doing the recruiting? I wonder how this'll turn out... He climbed up the gangplank his booted feet making almost no sound at all, it was a habit of his. All he had brought with him were the clothes on his back, the knives on his belts, the rifle carried in his holster and the sack of coins over his shoulder. "Ahoy there......" he kinda trailed off not sure how to continue. He wasn't used to talking to pirates he was actually more comfortable robbing them. "I uh umm well... I hear you lookin for a crew and I was hopein to apply..." he trailed off again.

Bo was just about to say something to the newest lookout of the team when a treasure hunter boarded the ship asking for work. Well, treasure hunters alwase did know the best places where gold was kept. Even if he was good for nothing on the boat he would be good for helping with makeing their purses fat.
"alright, Darien. I'm the acting captain as of right now, and I say, if you can tell the diffrence between bow and stern then you'll be fine."
Now was when another person decided to climb aboard the ship asking for work. Apparently he was used to being quiet on land because his footsteps made no sound, but the sound of the bending wood of the gangplank alerted Bo to his presence.
"Ahoy there......"
Bo turned around to look at whoever this was. It was the little rascle from the bar! How funny was that! He wanted to join the crew and he clearly didn't even have his sea legs yet!
"I uh umm well... I hear you lookin for a crew and I was hopein to apply..."
Bo looked the boy over... well... at least he was in good shape. Maby they could use him as a deck hand or cabbin boy untill he knew what he was doing.
"I don't know.... what do you think?"
Bo asked, giveing Gwen a little nudge in the side and pointing to the boy.
"A deck hand possibly.... But we would need someone to babysit him untill he knows what he's doin'."
She said in a voice that only Gewen might hear. And possibly the new lady since she was standing so near by.
