TV? Haki's eyes strayed to the TV, wondering if it was light enough to carry, now that the man had mentioned it. But all thoughts of TV kidnapping was lost when Gavin whispered his words.
"Okay." she said, nodding her head. She wanted to know why the boy wanted all this stuff, but wasn't prepared to ask. What would she say? 'I want to know why you need dog food and money?'
That was ridiculous.
"Gavin, where now?" she asked, curious. Would they go after catfood now? Or maybe steal something in Hadrien's apartment, since it was so close by. And had he walked all this way?
With questions in her mind, she decided just to follow him. It was easier that way.

Gavin started heading out the door, leaving the cabinet with the dog food wide open and Hamlet eating straight out of the can. Tristan sure was going to get an amusing surprise in the morning.
Once he got back outside he paused at Haki's question. Where could he go now? He felt like he had accomplished enough for one night. Haki had been a great helper. Did she want more adventuring, though?
"Don't know. Where you want to go?"
Complete change from 'Okay let's go get stuff!' but that stage of him had passed on. For tonight, that is.

Haki paused. Tilting her head, she was about to shrug, when she decided. "To Gavin's house." she stated simply. Yes. She had missed that frou frouing rabbit, and now she wanted to go sleep.
She was sleepy, after all this exercise.
"Gavin go to Gavin house too?" she inquired. Because it would be such a coincidence~! Nodding her head as if it was settled (if Gavin didn't want to go to his house... well, she'd go anyways and sleep there.), she strode determinedly down...
one stair.
"Gavin?"

"Okay!" he chirped gleefully. Haki was coming to sleepover again. He had to stifle himself from entering a clapping, happy fit. Especially so since he had an open can of dog food in his hands. It'd be even more difficult for him not to eat it before he used it for whatever he needed it for. That'd also be nice if he knew what exactly all these things were for. Something special, that's all he could figure out.
He followed Haki down the stairs, then led the way to his own building. Stairs, stairs, stairs. So many stairs! Finally they reached his door. Unfortunately Remi was one of the few who actually locked the doors. He pointed Haki toward an open window with a sheet hanging out.
"Climb that to my room."

Haki beamed at the reaction. See? He was just as happy about it as she was! Which was fantastic, because she was just as happy about it as he was. Standing there and staring at the sheet, however, she frowned.
She found the stairs tiring enough. And he wanted her to do what??
"Gavin go first." she stated. If he could do it, maybe she could just hold while while he pulled her up.

Gavin nodded. Maybe if he did it first, Haki could just copy him. Plus, it was like diving into the unknown! Or, you know, his room. Then again, considering his room, it very well could be the unknown.
However, the dog food presented a problem. How was he going to get it into his room if he needed to both carry it and climb? Standing on his very tip-toes, he placed the can on the windowsill and then grabbed his sheet. Placing his legs against the wall, he began to climb up the wall and into the window.
Toilet paper. His room was still draped in toilet paper from last week. Mommee hadn't cleaned it up yet since she was lazy. Oh well, more fun for him and Haki! Grabbing the can, he fell onto his cushy bed and peered out the window at Haki.
"Climb!"

Haki stared skeptically. Just how had the other boy done that? Mimicing his actions by grabbing the sheets and placing his legs on the wall, she managed it- with some difficulty. By the time she struggled over the window and landed on a heap on the floor, her cheeks were flushed and her breathing coming in quick gasps.
Stupid, stupid boys. Why did they make everything difficult, and how come he was't finding this so hard? Deciding that tomorrow she would need to ask Marc to sign her up for some sporty lessons, she nodded her head. "Climbeded." she said, frowning.
Distressed, too. Now she'd have to take another bath in the morning... and...
Oh.
What was this?
Staring at the toilet paper, she giggled. "Gavin?"

Gavin clapped when Haki tumbled through the window. Before anything else, he rushed over to his bed, reached underneath, and pulled out a spare moving box that he'd hidden there way back when they first moved in. It would be used for special things, like everything he'd gathered that night. Carefully he put the money, Haki's shiny thing, and the can of dog food inside and then pushed the box back underneath.
He smiled back at Haki when she was looking at the toilet paper. He puffed out his chest smugly, as if he'd just won some award for intererior decorating.
"You like?"

Haki looked back to stare at Gavin with a rather amused expression. Like? What was she say to something like that? She knew one use for toilet paper... and that frankly, wasn't for decorating. Still, at the way his chest puffed out and the way he formed the words, she humored him. Maybe it was a guy thing. Either way, Haki dealt with him in the age old woman-dealing-with-man way.
"I like." she nodded her head, beaming. She was tired after the climb, but she wasn't going to admit it first. (There was only so much she was willing to concede). So she looked around. "Gavin, where froo froo?" she asked. She wanted to see that doll again.

Gavin beamed back at Haki. See? He had done a good job! Though, the toilet paper draping did make a few things difficult. Like finding things. That had been a grand difficulty this past week for him. Looking for one small thing turned out to be an epic quest every time.
"Froo froo?" he said thoughtfully, trying to remember where he last put it. Without warning he dived into a mass of toilet paper and started searching. After about five minutes of toilet paper flying all over the place, resulting in Gavin ripping down a quarter of the room, he appeared right next to Haki holding the prized stuffed animal.
Something else on his list of unexplainables....Hmmm...

Haki beamed as she looked at the animal. nodding her head, she reached for it gingerly. It was older and rattier than anything she had at home, but there was something fascinating about a toy that was so well used. Maybe it was the interest antiques could have for others too. Of sentimental value that could bring in quite a coin.
And Haki knew, through important sources (ie: Ismet) that coin was good. Because money let you rule the world and have supporters. "Froo froo." she murnured, her voice delighted as she tried to make it sing again. How had Gavin done it, before?
She looked up, nodding. "Gavin hero!" she proclaimed once more, knowing her word should make it law. It would, later in life. Hopefully. If she succeeded.

"Hero!" Gavin squeeled happily. He knew Mommee was a very heavy sleeper, which meant he could be as loud as he wanted, no matter what time of night. Seeing that Haki couldn't seem to figure out how to make Froo Froo sing, he decided to play hero again.
Carefully standing next to her, he pulled the drawstring circle back all the way. Suddenly Froo Froo started to since again, though this time it was a little more muffled and crackly sounding.
Little bunny Foo Foo, hopping through the forest...
Remi had known the battery was dying in that rabbit ages ago, but didn't really know how to break it to Gavin. As far as the little boy knew, his Froo Froo was dying.

Haki's eyes widened. What was this mockery coming out of the rabbit? It was a nightmare version of the original, like a rabbit singing to her in it's dying breath. Terrified and a little bit too alarmed by it all, she turned, eyes shooting up to Gavin's, searching for the answer. What had he done to her froo froo? Just because she hadn't asked for it in return for her money (her money, yes.) and her orb. (Okay, this one makes sense.)
"Gavin." she was distraught at this new news. Had the bunny decided to die because she hadn't taken it home with her? Was it lacking love from this family? SOMEONE GIVE HER AN ANSWER!
Saddened, she listened forlornly and tried to scramble up into Gavin's bed, but gently.
"Is dyingned."

Gavin looked toward Haki sadly. He thought maybe that because she was here Froo Froo would get better. Maybe not. What had Mommee said that day when he first brought the dying Froo Froo to her. Batry? He didn't know what that was. Maybe Haki would know.
"Mommee say batry dyingned in Froo Froo," he sniffed. Maybe it was like a heart. Or a brain. Or maybe in this case vocal cords.
"Haki save Froo Froo?"
Haki was a helper. She could do anything! ...right?

"Bat tree?" Wait. Wait wait. There were trees made out of bats? What did it have to do with the rabbit dying in her arms? Upset that maybe it was infected with bats, (...ew.) she sighed. It was so hard, letting this one down.
"Maybe." she said, hopefully, nodding her head. "Tomorrow I show Haydren?" The man was a scientist, or something. And Marc had told her that he was very very smart. So maybe he could fix their dying rabbit.
She nodded. "Haydren smart." she explained, the same way Marc had. "He fix everything!" her voice rose just slightly in excitement. Yes! He did! And then froo froo would come back to life, and Gavin would be indebted to her foreeever!
Wow. This was sounding better and better.
"Poor froo froo."
