Detroit won, huh? I guess Mike Martz is making a big difference in Motor City. Maybe I should bump up Roy Williams on my Fantasy Football cheat sheet...(That's the only reason why I pay attention to Preseason games)
KC lost to Houston 24-14. I thought the offense Houston used looked familiar. Turns out the old Broncos offensive coordinator is on their coaching staff. Now the Chiefs have ANOTHER bootleg team to deal with. stressed

Shanahan's just trying to get his other running backs motivated during practice. It should be Tatum Bell. He had a good season last year, and he should do just as well, if not better. He ran for 921 yards last year, and all he needs to work on is his patience. T. Bell doesn't wait for his blockers as much as he should. He should get a lot better at it, though, and easily post 1000 yards this season as a starter.
(We sound like ESPN analysts biggrin )

(We sound like ESPN analysts biggrin ) but when Shanahan makes a move, he will stay with it. he doesn't flip flop around. he may start bell opening day and only make him have a few carries but he will not switch his desision if M Bell like only fumbles the ball one more time before the preseaon is over, i think he will start opening day. but T Bell does that cause of his speed, he isn't a clinton Portis where he could power his way around then make a giant dash. he has to run around/through everyone before they have time to react. and we do sound like espn analysts, only smarter!!! (that Salsberry [sp?] guy pisses me off cause he states the obvious stressed

You're probably right. Shanahan must have seen something in Mike Bell. Looking at some of the other running backs he's had, Terrell Davis for example. Shanahan started him, everyone thought he was crazy, and then T.D. went on to be one of the greatest backs in the NFL.
In other news, T.O. finally practiced again after missing 2 full weeks with a "pulled hamstring". People have noted that the Dallas offense is almost a complete change from the usual West Coast offense T.O. dominated in. Do you think he'll adapt to the Dallas offense fast enough, or will T.O. sit out the first week?
(I believe his name is spelled 'Salsburry', but I'm not 100% sure. But, yes, he does state the obvious too much)
