You can download songs from www.hxcmp3.com and www.purevolume.com ... and those are legal because they're posted by the bands themselves.

My all time favourite is Petra. Specially their older stuff <3 There is this one site that sells lots christian music and has sample songs there too.. just cannot remember the name. I were about to order some stuff, but didn't have the money just then and then I lost the place... *sob* Mostly I listen japanese music, anime soundracks, jpop, jrick and other stuff that just hangs around. And also what they happen to play on radio at mornings.

You know...half of the bands mentioned in this thread are bands my church has never heard of before, let alone consider as Christian music. Which I find funny. Unless a song directly says the words "Christian" "God" "Lord" "Father" "sinner" "Christ" "Jesus" or "heaven" the kids at my church most likely don't consider the band Christian in any way shape or form. Personally, I don't think that's right. Nobody at my church knows who Stacy Orrico is. Now, a lot of people don't know her so that's understandable. When I explained to them that shes a Christian singer who has some songs on mainstream radio they all gave me this look like "and shes CHRISTIAN?!" But you know, I think it's GREAT Christian bands are making it on mainstream radio! Maybe people will understand the messages in the songs and convert. I just wish my group at church wasn't so strict and harsh about who's a Christian band and who isnt sad So I'm gonna just say...and sorry for going off topic (please somebody PM me on that if they have something they wanna add to what i said, cuz i truly think its a problem how Christians are now labeling whos christian and who isnt based on where their music is heard and whether words are used or not)... my fav bands inclue Switchfoot, Evanesense, Newsboys, Mercy Me, and Small Town Poets. Plenty of room for everyone else i like too though
