Viragogirl wolfsbanemoon I did a 10 week project on it. Reiki is an ancient form of Japanese energy healing, using the energies of the universe (or, more vaguely, The Source. Basically, the god, goddess, or whatever it is that energy stems from. I like to think it's the universe). Once someone is attuned to one of the three levels of Reiki (with every attunement, you can do more, and the healings become more powerful, I'm a Reiki 1), the energies of the universe flow through you and target whatever areas on the person your healing that need healing. I could go on, if you'd like me too, I suppose. fun! ^_^ I'm level 2. thanks for explaining... >> << yay for Dr. Usui! ^_^ If I ever participate in a sayance, I'm calling him up right after Jesus and the first Buddah.

Did you guys know that using lvl 2 can help you find things? I think you just use cho-ku-rei, but I'm not sure...

I only know bits and peices about Reiki... Like most things I've grown up with it just seemed too... something to ask. Mom's a (X) level reiki master. (X) is actually an unknown number because I forgot and not a roman 10. I asked her to teach me once and she said you need to go into an initiation before you can do it. *shrugs* Beats me.
I just know it's some form of energy manipulation... And I know that it works. I remember when I was around 7 years old and mom would practice on me. I had to lie still and was bored to bits. It usually cured my tooth and headaches though. It was the only times I went to ask mom to do it, when some part of my body was aching.
We're too alike to stand her teaching me. We fight within 10 minutes of being in the same room. Kindof frustrating to know you have a well of knowledge in your house that could teach you so much, but that it takes the form of your mother. rolleyes "Put on a sweater, you're feeling cold!" she yells at me. "Don't you think I'd know if I felt cold?" rolleyes
